This was our first year having to use a tax professional. I HIGHLY recommend Leann Garver. She went above and beyond for us. We walked in feeling stressed and anxious. We walked out feeling happy and hopeful. She cares, takes the time to explain things and is just an amazing person. Thank you, LeAnn for all you did for us!! You are truly appreciated.

I confirmed my appointment through text on Wednesday, I get there Friday and they tell me my appointment was not confirmed. All they could say was “it’s not my fault”…..ok…. But it’s not my fault either! They did nothing to try to accommodate me. All she said was that I could wait and she apparently had no sense of her schedule because she could give me NO time frame at all. She also suggested I reschedule but didn’t even give me any time openings. During this time another man had walked in asking for the same lady, who I guess he had dropped his taxes off in advance and had heard nothing from in days. She went on to say she had TWELVE she was working on and his was one of her firsts. I get it, tax season everyone is over stressed and over worked. Maybe consider NOT taking in so many customers. Also, definitely remove your “walk ins are welcomed” if you can’t even accommodate people with appointments when glitches in YOUR system happen.

After getting the run around for 3 days and playing phone tag with the tax preparer, they charged me $325 to do my taxes. I’m highly dissatisfied and will definitely not be filing with HR Block ever again. On top of the fee I ended up having to pay the state as well. If I could give 0 stars, I would!!

If possible, avoid this location. I received the WORST service ever!! Do Not Come to this location. I contacted this location on Saturday February 5th at 4:59 PM and spoke to the receptionist. I asked were there any available appointments today. Was told yes and proceeded to ask for my information: my name, dob and telephone number. I provided my information and asked again are there any available appointments for this evening (Saturday) and was told yes, if you can get here in 15 minutes, we can take you. I said OK, I will be there in 15 minutes. I arrived at the location at 5:14 PM. When I arrived, no one was at the front desk and about two -three minutes later I was approached by Coy. She asked how can I help you? I told her I was here for my appointment and provided my name. She oh yes come on back, I will assist you with your return. As we started, about 15 minutes later she said she had another appointment at 6pm and she may not be able to finish my return. But said her coworker could assist. I said OK as long as I can complete them TODAY. Coy said yes. Well at 5:47 her appointment arrived, a white man came in. She said excuse me let me speak to him. She let him know she was with another appointment and will be with him at 6pm. Welp, 5:52, Coy went to ask her coworker can she stay to assist and the coworker told her NO. Well, Coy said do you want to leave your taxes and I do them later. I advised her no because there are deductions I have to go over because I have 1099's. Then she asked can I come back at 7pm, I asked her will she be able to take me at 7pm and she thought about it and said NO. But you can come back during the week. The receptionist said she will take $20.00 off my taxes, for the inconvenience. For H&R to file my returns would cost $800.00. I reached out to the District Manager Scott and have not heard anything back.Just a couple tips:1.The receptionist should have asked what type of returns I had before she scheduled the appointment and not assume I was a typical 30-45 min client.2. Coy could have advised her appointment it would take another 15-20 minutes and then she could assist him.3. Also, it very unprofessional to have hair clips in your head from getting your hair retwisted.4. The district manager still have not responded, so I take it as it is ok for you to treat your clients like this. $800.00 for a service. From this experience it obvious neither one of these employees know customer service.
