“It is such a shame that some patrons are RUDE verbally to the staff of Dollar General on Oak Grove Road - I witnessed it today - those gals working there have to unload trucks and unpackage a lot of products on the shelf and they need more staff to help in my opinion - one gal came in and was EXTREMELY RUDE to a sweet gal that works there because she was unpackaging product and the line was long - it is a busy store - I think that DG needs to give them all a raise!!”

“I just want to give a huge shoutout to Jordyn at the Dollar Tree! I've seen her there before and she is always incredibly kind, helpful, and sweet. Today, she went above and beyond for me. | was picking out balloons for my mom and aunt, and she didn't just ring them up. She helped me choose the colors and created a beautiful balloon bouquet out of them. It turned out amazing and really made my day.
She took time and care with everything, and you can just tell she enjoys helping people and takes pride in what she does. I don't know if she's the manager, but honestly, if she's not she should be! The gentleman who was working stock in the back of the store was working hard to make the store nicely presentable and greeted with a good morning while actually acknowledging a customer along with the cashier being polite and friendly!

“Very friendly staff, and nice, clean store! I've gotten to know the employees and I have to say it really burns me up to see some of these reviews complaining about only one register open and shelves not being stocked because you all need to realize they , like every business are given a tight budget for labor! These people work their tails off trying to keep the store clean and stocked while also trying to run register, they aren't allowed to have more than 2 people working at a time most days and some days only allowed one person! So, when you see some of the shelves empty, that's why... When you see an employee outside smoking, that's probably the first break they've gotten in 4 or 5hrs! The two ladies that usually work during the day are constantly running around the store trying so hard to clean and stock and take care of their rude customers that do nothing but fuss and complain about them not standing behind the register all day while at the same time they're complaining about items not in stock! Come on people! Can you be in 2 places at once? These ladies do their best!”

“I just made the best purchase of the day, two glass jugs, large, strong, thick glass, strong handles, actually beautiful, I had been looking for one like this for months, since glass is the best for serving juices or in my case we drink water boiled with herbs ? all in all super beautiful, the 2 for 6 dollars, it's worth it for the quality, even the cashier was surprised. “I stopped by this location with 2 young boys that I care for on a hot Wednesday afternoon. We were buying pool noodles and a pool. The boys were super excited. Everyone in the store was kind to them. My hands were full with the boys so a man went outside to get the biggest pool for us. The woman at the register helped to carry it outside. Unfortunately it did not fit in the back. All of us went back inside to buy tie-downs to put the pool on the roof. The associate asked her coworker if she minded if she helped me put it on top of my car. As we were working on this a kind man who was with an older woman offered to put it in his truck and drive it to the house for us.This trip could have been a disaster but instead it was a successful adventure. Everyone was kind and helpful so these excited boys could enjoy their day. I want to thank each of these helpers. This is going to be a whole summer of fun for these littles due to you!”
