Chetola Resort at Blowing Rock is set in a beautiful and unbeatable location, featuring a lovely lake and pool area. The property is very nice, well-maintained, and conveniently located near town. Guests describe the condos as super clean, homey, and comfortable, though some rooms are noted as being small. The experience with staff and service is mixed. The restaurant staff and front desk are often cited as super nice, accommodating, and very helpful. However, other areas of service are inconsistent. The recreation staff can be somewhat rude, and the resort appears understaffed, leading to significant service failures. Simple requests, like for coat hangers, can go unfulfilled for an entire stay, and some room maintenance issues are known but unresolved. There are also rare but serious allegations of lost items. Amenities are an impressive array, including a spa and a restaurant with a new chef. However, contacting the spa can be difficult, with no answered or returned phone calls. While the resort is considered excellent and highly recommended by many, some find it overpriced and advise future guests to be prepared to adapt, as obtaining needed service is not always guaranteed.
Just went for Sunday brunch. The online menu is not accurate. There is only a buffet which was quite good.

I took my family here on a 3 day trip and we had an amazing time. We stayed in one of the condos and it was super clean and homey. The staff at the front desk was very helpful.
The resort is beautiful from the lake to the pool area. Would highly recommend coming here.

Disappointing high end resort property was well maintained service was understaffed and spa was unable to get service s no one answered the phone or returned phone calls this property is over priced and small rooms but the beds were comfortable
