“Great place to stay with a dog! The room was well insulated so the fireworks were too loud and our dog was calm the entire time. Plenty of places to walk our dog and numerous poop bag stations nearby. Location is exactly where we wanted to be - close within walking distance, but not too close with all of the noise and traffic. Meeting others outside while rocking in the comfortable chairs was a real treat!”

“We had a board meeting at the hotel (third year now) and it works out great with wonderful staff - they were attentive and highly responsive of our needs - excellent meeting space, and quality of the guest rooms. Plus the location is ideal. We're able to walk to area restaurants and our attendees appreciate not having to drive again until they depart!”
“What a beautiful, cozy getaway nestled into the side of a quiet hillside in Blowing Rock. The fourplex cabins offered a nice, private space to relax and unwind in the bountiful nature of the western NC mountains. The spaces provided everything needed to enjoy a family getaway to unplug from busy life, and connect with each other to make lasting memories. We will be coming back.”

“We stayed there unexpectedly without reservation. Just googled a pet friendly place for overnight stay. What a peaceful, beautiful, rustic retreat! Small room with everything you might need and a patio/balcony looking at the creek. There are BBQ tables and.small grills available, walking like I the park, pond in front with seating. Nature livers dream. Steps away from main street with art galleries, restaurants and a market. Once you parked in front of your room, you will not.need a car. If you need something, dial a number and a person brings it to your room. We asked for extra coffe for coffe cup machine. Clean, fresh, friendly, walkable gem in the natural park.”
“Excellent location. We came on a ski trip and ended up extending our stay because we enjoyed the area and our accommodations so much. The beds were comfy with plush comforters, keurig in room with pods, and liquid creamer which my husband appreciated instead of the powder most places give you. Our room was extremely clean. The young man who checked us in was very friendly and recommended some great vista points on the parkway. Will definitely be back and look forward to using the charming rocking chairs when it's warmer!”

“We had a wonderful stay in the Japanese Maple Suite. It was during the week, after the Memorial holiday, so it was not crowded. The bed was comfortable with nice sheets and pillows. Charming decor and peaceful environment. There was a minor hiccup with the AC, but the owner and staff handled it immediately with no issues. Very impressed with the service. The food at the Best Cellar on site restaurant was top notch! We will definitely be returning. Highly recommend.”
