“I have done business with Mr. Gorges since about 1985 and we have traded hundreds of items over the decades. For 40 years. IMHO, he is the best and once of the most knowledgeable vendors of historical US militaria in the Country, from before the Revolution through WWII. Mr. Gorges has really helped me with my collection of items relating to Black US CW troops, and has allowed me to be the caretaker for many of those historical items. Mr. Gorges is free with his knowledge and I believe him to be scrupulously honest in all of our many dealing. The Best.”

“Stop the car!! You need to see what's inside this unassuming building. Enter into a world of adventures for book lovers, jewelry hounds, antique advocates, fashionistas, and gift getters. Frequently fabulous furniture! Bring your tape measure and your wallet...you will find something that calls to you.”
“Nice collection of antiques and vintage items. Easy parking. I would have given 5 stars but with the heat wave going on and no a/c inside the building, it was stifling to be in there even with fans going so we browsed very quickly. But I will visit again when weather turns cooler.”
“I have always been pleased when working with Tom with my coins… never a problem. Quick service-he’s very knowledgeable.. I like to give silver dollar for gifts to parents of Newborns.. Tom always helps me with my coin selection.. I do not understand the negative review on here..”
“We’ve came here a few times and we absolutely love it! Only thing I’d like to mention is the smell. It smells like someone has incense lit all over the store and it’s extremely overwhelming. Each time I come I get a headache from how strong the smell is. And I have heard others complain of the same thing in the store. Other than that, amazing store!”
“The store itself was a great place to visit and look around at all the stuff. I found a long wooden bowl I wanted almost as soon as I walked in and my husband found some albums he wanted. Throughout the store, there are signs stating "green dot items are 50% off." I never saw a green dot item anywhere throughout the store and neither did the other three people who were with me. When I went to purchase my items, I asked, "Hey, can I get the green dot price on this bowl?" The clerk says no, which is fine, but I asked where these green dot items are and never really got an answer, just that the item I was purchasing was NOT a green dot item. Then she says to me, "I'm not stupid!" to which I advised that I never accused her of being stupid. I'm thinking they get offers all the time, why not just say, sorry-no can do, or for that matter, just no! She didn't have to be such a cranky-pants. But overall, the store was fun to look thru. Glad she didn't sour it for me until we were ready to go.”
