Very impressed with staff and facilities. Joined and have been everyday for my first month. Machine selection 8s excellent, indoor pool very nice, men's Health clue addition is extremely useful with Sauna, therapeutic hot tub, steam room and lockers you can rent for $3/mo. I am impressed with everything here and all the staff.

Used to use this YMCA daily as a pre-teen and teenager. Now 40+ years later, I am back. They have updated all the workout equipment, expanded on after school programs and senior fitness, and thoroughly incorporated adaptive entrances and equipment so anyone physically challenged can participate. Still has the laid back vibe I enjoyed as a kid. Happy to be back. Great place to bring the whole family for fitness activities.

Read everything you agree to before buying. Bought the lifeguard course and before the new Aquatics director was hired, it said if you didn't pass the initial requirement you would be refunded.Took the course and didn't make the 300 meter requirements swim and they took the 250.00 dollars anyway. Looked back on the website and the website had been changed to no refunds. Thanks for helping a community out when there is a shortage of lifeguards and parents paying the fees.

Segregation in the year of our LORD 2023?....The whirlpool is only available to the men, much to the chagrin of my wife; and they charged me a $15 fee just for access to the steam room and sauna. The Bryan Family YMCA in Greensboro is a far better facility.

Great environment for youth sports if you prefer fun and team building over who wins. Definitely no yelling at coaches or kids. It also has an adult volleyball league. The price is reasonable. Some of the front desk staff aren't very welcoming and they are often just talking amongst themselves. I do wish they offered early morning classes.

This review is about the athletics and the recreation league for basketball. it's very unprofessional to allow older kids to play in lower leagues. It's not fair to the correct age group. Talent level, maturity and physical Superiority due to size all are due to age. To allow a 14 year old to play in a 13u league is just sad. We as parents sign kids up to play in a certain age group and trust the ymca to have it correct. It's just sad what the rec league has came to.

Good value for what it offers. Just wish they would lower the music in the weight room. It can be obnoxiously loud.
