About African-American Cultural Arts & History Center
The African-American Cultural Arts & History Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to celebrating and preserving the contributions of African Americans in Burlington, NC. Established in 2017, the Center aims to educate visitors about local Black history through artifacts, documents, and memorabilia. It is the only African American Center in Burlington and has hosted several events, with visitors often discovering new exhibits each time. Though some note limited inventory, the Center offers valuable insights into Alamance County’s Black history. Many people are unaware of its location, but it provides a meaningful space to learn about local heritage and culture.
