0 STARS!! Wouldn't have even given this branch a one star. Horrible experience, had gotten a car loan from them..paid it off and was never late on a payment. They managed to bill the correct address for the last 2 years for payments but as soon as I paid the loan off and was expecting my title in the mail I discovered they had been sent it off almost 2 months ago to the wrong address and one I haven't been living at in over 3 years. No notice stating I paid the car loan off and no other information has been sent to the correct address since its been paid off. I have a whole title to a brand new car floating around somewhere and have to go to dmv to file for a new title due to their lack of care once they recieved all their money. I guarantee if I was late on a payment they would have sent a notice to my current address or at least called to verify what address they would be sending that late notice too. Would not trust this branch with ANY personal information. 0 STARS!!

Beth Phillips is one of the sweetest and most helpful Employee there. She helped me very patiently with my loan and has such a wonderful personality. I wasn’t rushed or treated badly in any type of way. She treated me like family and was very friendly. I truly appreciate good customer service and care which is what she provided. Thank you Beth as you are absolutely wonderful & take pride in your work which seems to be rare these days but you have it down packed!! :)

Meghan was very helpful and informative when it came to getting a car loan. She was one of two loan officers on duty. She has a positive attitude despite being quite busy.

Been banking with secu for 20 years, and by far, this was the worst branch I've been to. Purchased a money order to pay a bill at Harris teeter and found out I didnt need it anymore. Tried to deposit it back into my account but the teller lied and told me that they would have to place a hold on it. Keeping in mind that the amount is certified. She also stated that they received so many of them. It appears to me that something was off with their judgment and I'll leave it at that. Avoid this location. It's not for ethnic minorities ?

I'm giving a 1 star because a year ago their is this one in particular loan officer there (a middle aged brunette woman) who is perhaps the rudest most nasty person I have ever encountered in my life. Her unprofessionalism is astounding. She asked me to wait for her to get information about my loan acceptance which I had no problem with but it took her more than 15 minutes to come back to the room and what makes it even worse was that I heard her in the other room gossiping with other employees about non-work nonsense. She wasn't even trying to figure out my situation. She even straight up insulted me to my face one time (but I unfortunately let it slide). She's very passive aggressive when asking simple questions. And just has an incredibly mean and dark presence about her. And turns out my friend told me she was rude to him and her mom when they tried to get a loan. But the worst thing of all is when I left the room after our loan meeting and I heard her call me the N-word as soon as I walked out the door. Then when I tried to report her to the banks manager he said he would defend her when I told him I would report her to corporate. Lucky for her my mother told me to drop it or I would have definitely let corporate know. It's been a year since and I don't know if threatening to call corporate to set her straight worked, but I hope so. Because next time I'm coming with recording phone at hand ready for her and her problems. Also the culture of this bank just seems very suspicious and sneaky towards POC's. I would not recommend THIS PARTICULAR SECU but all the other ones I've went too were fine.

Your personal information is not safe here. Had personal info which caused issues at my job. Thought confidentiality was number one rule at a bank. I guess the svp doesn’t really care, as he knew about it also.

Had i known an institution as large, and well spoken of could this many problems, simply processing loan payments correctly, i would have never banked with NCSECU. Supposedly, the loan payments won't bounce your account. Not only will they bounce your account, they do so, taking MULTIPLE PAYMENTD A MONTH!. I was 3 MONTHS ahead on a personal loan, when it decided to bounce my account; current on the mortgage, not due til the 1st, and bouced the account the 16th?!?!?! And no one has a good reason!!!
