“Easy 5-star bookstore!
It may be a small store, but it’s packed with great book finds, stickers, memorabilia, and more. It’s tidy, well-organized, has friendly staff, and the prices are good. It has a reading bench too
I had been looking to complete my set for “The Years of Lyndon Johnson” by Robert Caro, and actually found book 4 (The Passage of Power) for $12.50-a great price!
All together, my wife and I got a reading-tote bag, a bottle stickers, a 3D bookmark, and 5 books for around $80. Really a good haul!

“Love this place. Was on my way out of SC when I rode pass this place and I had to stop. Good thing I did. Great book store. They also had pins! Very good pins. Lots of Mickey mouse. “The Island Art & Book store is really an amazing place. So many different types of paintings and pictures that really tell a story about how beautiful and pleasant this side of NC truly is. But, then there are the books. Oh boy, what a selection. Local books on the past and present of all the beaches in the area. Also, books on many other topics, sea life, turtles, cooking, drinks you name it's there. Let's not forget the beautiful sea art jewelry that they sell. So beautiful and nice I must say. If you're looking for a unique gift for someone this is the go to place. Take time to look at the old map prints they have for sale as well. Everything in this store tells a story. If you read this review give it a thumbs up as it lets me know people are seeing what I post.”

“Really fun stop with a coffee store conveniently nearby! The selection is far more than books! Dvds, horror, vintage toys, and a very dive-y feel. They were super nice, and we spent a fair amount of time looking around.
For parents, there was a small section of kids books by a local author up front and some plushies, but more of a grown up bookstore for sure!”
