“Found so many options for furnishing my new home. I've looked at multiple furniture stores for a solid kitchen table that comes with a leaf to expand when needed. Until I saw a solid wood table that not only came with one leaf, but two! It was on sale for a good price. Then a very nice employee stopped to inform me there was an anniversary sale taking an additional 25% off the marked down price!! We ended up buying the for model so they took yet another 10% off at the register!!! Two employees took it apart quickly and loaded it in my car. What a wonderful shopping experience!”

“I’m sure I don’t have to remind anyone reading this that there are Dollar General stores popping up like weeds all over the country, and if you live in the Myrtle Beach (Horry County) area, you can’t drive 10 miles without passing at least one DG store. I live right across the border in Sunset Beach, NC and purposely go out of my way to drive and shop at THIS LOCATION despite there being TWO closer DG locations to my home. Why? Outstanding and unsurpassable customer service. The employees at this DG are some of the nicest and most professional I’ve ever encountered in a Dollar General (and I’ve lived all over the east coast: FL, WI, IL, NY, MA, AL, etc.). One employee in particular that always makes my shopping experience a better one is Stacie (i’m sorry if i spelled your name incorrectly, girl! lol.) thanks for being such a great worker and hospitable clerk. Give this girl a raise!”
“Shop around, you'd be amazed how much money can be saved on things you normally buy. One example, they have Old Orchard Health Balanced juice, low sugar content, at Food Lion and Walmart it's $2.99, Lowes' it's $3.49, their price is always $1.25”

“I just wanted to share how nice the people at the Dollar General store 17362 on Hwy 90 in Little River, SC are.My friend lost his wallet and thought he had lost it there. He went back to the store, and Beverly and Drew were great. Beverly looked up the video to see if he maybe dropped his wallet in the store. Unfortunately, he didn't, but Beverly went above and beyond helping him by going to his car with him to search in case it fell in the car. My friend did find his wallet elsewhere, but I thought these good people should be acknowledged for being so kind and going above and beyond to help someone. It made my friend feel better in the state of panic. Thank you, Beverly and Drew.”

“Came here for a few things on 1/16/25. I have never seen a DG as clean, neat, organized and smelling great (a clean smell) as this location. The shelves were stocked, the shelf tags actually were up in place and correct, there were no boxes piled in the aisles just a really good shopping experience.
Even the cashier was nice (and that’s a rarity in today’s retail world).
I will certainly be back at this location again when I am in the area. Highly highly recommend it, you probably will be just as surprised as I was ( and no, I don’t work for DG or asked to write this, I mean it sincerely).”
