“If I could give it more stars I would. Hands down the best Inn/Hotel I've stayed at on any base. The staff makes this place what it is. You can tell they go the extra mile to make people happy. The room was cleaned and ready everyday while I was at breakfast. I would certainly recommend and stay there again.Rooms: Great rooms. They were cleaned quickly while I was at breakfast each morning. It was nice to come back to a clean room to start the day.Safety: I would feel very confident if my kids were at the hotel that they would be safe.Food & drinks: Breakfast was awesome. Food pantry was convenient.Noteworthy details: Best base hotel I've ever stayed at.”

“Awesome place to stay. Staff were very friendly. Rooms were very clean. Walking distance to the restaurant and pier. Food is really good and average prices. Service was fast. Private beach access. Very short walk to the beach. Plenty of parking even with a boat. Boat ramp very close maybe 3 or 4 miles. This will always be our first choice for a hotel for now on.”

“We chose this hotel out of pure convenience but I was pleasantly surprised! I called the place directly because Trip Advisor said there was no availability and there was plenty of availability. I informed the staff that I would not be arriving until around 2:30 AM and he was super nice and said no problem! I asked if he wanted my credit card information to hold the room and he said no that he would have a room for me and he did just that at 3:00 AM with a smile! The property appearance is very neat and clean. The rooms have been remodeled with new paint and tile and was very clean. I only have three issues...the bath tub is ceramic and very clean but also very slippery and there are no grab bars. I nearly fell twice. The A/C was off when we arrived and it took a little while to cool it off and also made for a stale odor to begin with. Nothing major...The A/C units are fairly new. Lastly, the beds have not been upgraded. We slept very well and the linens were clean but could use some updated spreads and new mattresses. Other than that it was great and I will stay again! Oh, and no continental breakfast but a fair price for a Budget Inn!”

“My family and I stay in this hotel have been great so far. Motel 6 is very close to a lot of fast food restaurants, tobacco & vape shops, salons, and barbershops. They even have a Waffle House located next to them. I highly recommend Lazzaro's Pizza. Their pizzas are so delicious. You can't beat that! And stores such as Dollar General, Family Dollar, Walmart, etc. If you have a family I highly recommend New River Shopping Center. They have a thrift store called Finder's Keeper's that donates to women who are domestic violence victims. My husband & I found a lot of great stuff there. The shopping center have a Dollar General of course, City Trends which is a clothing store, planet fitness and an inside children playhouse. And down the street from Motel 6 they have an inside gymnasium for kids, Chinese Buffet, and a huge Dollar General Store. The staff at Motel 6 are very awesome. Imee been nice towards my family and help. Imee make sure the job is done. Bethany have been nice towards my family and very passionate about her job & also make sure things are ran smoothly towards the even through night. Motel 6 have great coffee and an outside pool. Pet friendly. The owner needs a round of applause for hiring Imee & Bethany. Because Imee & Bethany they are the type of workers every business establishment needs. The house keepers are sweethearts & get the job done. If you are visiting Jacksonville, NC stop by Motel 6. Like the commercial says, "We Leave The Light On For You."

On more thing, If you enjoy fishing or boating there is literally a lake up the street.”
