The store is known for its competitive prices, though some customers have expressed dislike for the increased emphasis on self-checkout, preferring the traditional staffed lanes. Overall, Food Lion has improved under the Ahold/Delhaize ownership, with newer locations featuring beautiful produce sections and expanded prepared food options. While not a hidden gem, this store can be a valuable resource for those new to the area or passing through, as it may carry items that can be harder to find at other grocery stores in the vicinity.
This is a small town grocery store. We stopped here to pick up some things while visiting family. Not a lot of organic options but there was plenty of variety on all the shelves. Everyone was very kind and helpful.
