“this food lion is smaller than the other one a mile away (on 54) but i prefer this one (though i like the other one, too!)this store is smaller, especially the produce department, but i feel like the items there are fresher because of the smaller space. they also have a lot of vegetarian products (frozen) that aren't available at the other store.the cashiers are always friendly. i do wish they had self check-out, but that's a me thing!”

“Overall, The Food Lion chain has improved since Ahold/Delhaize bought them. This location, while serving a lower middle class demographic, was clean, bright, well stocked, and had very nice and helpful personnel. They're self checkout has improved significantly, since they began moving to NCR. There are four self-checkouts in between all the registers, and it was very quick checkout. I recommend this location. But check out some of the newer Food Lions as well, because they have beautiful produce rooms and are expanding their prepared foods to make them better.”
