“I had done my research and read Consumer Reports so knew what I wanted. I was immediately welcomed and showed the bed I had selected. Great info and a quick explanation and I was sold. Estephani was very helpful and knowledgeable. Great experience.”
“The gentleman that casts a negative reaction to Woodcroft SC, you have no idea what you are talking about. Please do not send negative vibes about a really good SC. You must live in Raleigh… geez!”
“This was my first time here. I met business cohorts here. I highly recommend this place. Food was excellent and the atmosphere was relaxed. The place was full. Relaxed and fun. The staff was very attentive to us. The portion size was very large. You can make two meals out of it.”
“I come here for MilkLab and Zenfish. Two great places for rolled ice cream and refreshing teas. Awesome Poke Bowls with great prices, I came 4 times in 1 week once I was craving it.”
“Earlier this year we ordered the Easter meal since then we have ordered their premade meals for Thanksgiving and Christmas. It is the best option and the staff is very friendly and the store is extremely clean. The store manager Stephen is the friendliest person great to work with.”
“Nice but if your looking for a Real CVS Store, don't go to Target, I was let down at the 80s electronics and the 80s feel ? Please people, GET WITH Technology !??...”
“So many great buys at fabulous prices. I love shopping for shoes here or for fun button downs or ties for the men in my life here. Also a great place for good bras that don't cost an arm and a leg like a Nordstrom a cross the street.
Friendly staff. Clean.”
“As usual , Fresh Market , was amazing. Very clean and The staff is The best . I love The neat counter . The guys always are pleasant and helpful with Their variety of Jeats and Fish . It is one of my favorite places to shop”
“I come here often to go to the bank at Wells Fargo (and I believe there are a couple of other banks as well, so no shortage of ATMs.) Upscale pet food and supply store Phydeaux is on the other side of the street with an amazing selection of foods for cats and dogs. Farm Bureau, our insurance company is here, as well as Staples. as others have mentioned - PTA thrift store (my favorite location of them all) and several restaurants. I come to Living Kitchen for lunch a good bit and have always had good food. It's a bit pricey, but for good, fresh, raw vegan food, it's a nice splurge. Their cold pressed juices are delicious.
As others have mentioned, the big challenge and drawback here is parking, which can be nightmarish, especially at busy times. The other day, I had to drop some paperwork off to our insurance agent and actually had to wait for someone to leave to get a parking space. If they fix this, I'd definitely come here more often.”
“Loved the trail! We mostly went because of the beautiful pictures of the river, so our expectations were high. Unfortunately there was hardly any water and we were disappointed. Other then that the trail was fun and peaceful.”
“They had a couple of gluten-free options.
Pizza , the hamburger bun and as well as some salads , depending on what you put on them.. it was my first time there”
“This was once Kroger but now is Harris Teeter. The outline of the store is different from the one I'm used to. But the produce and everything else is still the same. I shop then head over to use my fuel points for gas.”
“Timberline lost a lot if it's draw when they lost Margaret's Cantina. Shopping center owners should be more aware of how different tenants affect their traffic flow and offer incentives to keep them. We'd go to Margaret's and then stop at the theater, frozen yogurt or Ace hardware. Now I rarely go here anymore.”
“Bin54 absolutely to die for. Great for any occasion. Staff are stellar and food selections are always fantastic. Great alcoholic and non-alcohol selections with a great wine sommelier.”
“Was there to go to TJ Max with my wife. This is a very busy small older looking mall on 15/501 between Durham and Chapel Hill. However, it provides a number of retail stores, restaurants with easy access off, and on a very busy highway.”
“Like a small town within a town. Interesting mix of stuff. Lot's of outdoor spaces to chill out. I am looking forward to it's completion (especially the hotel). I will report back”
“Cutest mall around! It's smaller than most "malls" but Carr Mill has alot to offer. Our little boys favorite toy shop, Ali Cat Toys, is located here. Ali Cat offers tons of unique and "good ol fashioned" toys such as wooden toys, stuffed animals and metal cars. They also sell stem based, crafts and puzzles, the type toys that encourage learning and creativity! There's also a great perfume shop at Carr Mill that carries pretty much every scent in the world, the staff is so knowledgeable on perfumes as well as helpful and kind, they'll let you sample a scent to make sure it's exactly what you're looking for and even spray a spritz on your skin as well as a small paper since scents can change as they warm on the skin, I learned that fact thanks to them! There's a great little jewelry shop, This Ring's True, the jewelers that make some of the jewelry displayed in the cases work out of the shop so it's really neat to meet the person who actually made the piece you're looking at. They can also special order in items if you need a new watch band or something else that they don't necessarily keep in store. There's a fabric shop that carries all kinds of beautiful textiles, I have only purchased silk ribbons from them but if I were to need fabric or cloth I'd definitely consider this place for those as well. There's a few restaurants here including a pizza parlor and an eclectic coffee shop with Moroccan vibes, a laid back place to hang out and catch up on emails or meet a friend for coffee. The best part of Carr Mill Mall is the structure itself! It was once an actual mill house factory, not entirely sure what was "milled" there but the wood and brick is gorgeous and I love that the town of Carrboro renovated it instead of knocking it over to build another building. You really should check this place out, it's something to see for yourself!”
