Carpenter Farm Supply Co. is a century-old store, a time capsule and museum-like experience that transports you back in time. It has a labyrinth of hardware, tools, and everything for your home, garden, or farm, with a surprisingly good selection for excellent, low prices. The staff are genuinely caring, very knowledgeable, super friendly, and always helpful. With creaky floors and a pot-bellied stove, it is an absolutely amazing and very cool place that beats the big box stores. This continuous operation since 1885 is a place you gotta go.
Stepped into the store and I took a step back in time. Didn’t know they can cut keys so took the opportunity to get some new keys made! Came home with a few plants, watering can and other fun things.

Called ahead asking for N-95 masks. By the time I arrived, they had already had set aside the box of 20, N-95. Service was prompt and efficient with the feeling of being at your favorite family member’s house, warm and welcoming. Will be coming back for other DYI and farming needs.
