Worst, worst, worst, worst, customer service. But trust me this is definitely not the place to drop your car. They are literally scamming money. I called them around 9AM and they said your tire will be here afternoon and your car will be in ready within 1hr after that. I called them at 1AM they said your tire is here we are working on it. And again I called them 3PM and 4PM I received the same answer. And he assured will give you today. Around 6PM he called and said we received wrong tire and it will take 3 more days to give your car and there will additional $100 price increase total $485 for single tire. This is ridiculous, money scammers only will do like this. Worst, worst customer service. Please stop giving you car at this location trust me this is worst location.

Got to the shop with an appointment in the morning (around 10) for an "oil change." Was told that it takes about 2-3 hrs to get through some piled-up appointments, went out for a walk, returned after 3 hrs, sat for 1 hr until being told that it takes 1-2 more hours to get it done, came back after 90 min, sat for another 2 hrs, left the shop at around 5:30. For comparison, went to another shop for tire change and adjustment, it was a walk-in but it took only 90 min. 6-7 hrs for an oil change is just out of this world.

Claimed to have cleaned my engine but it looks like they just wire brushed the bottom a little bit and wipe it off with something wet. Charged over $70 bucks, too. They told me that it would be a 4 to 5 hour job but called me back as soon as I got home. They told me that they were finished but made me wait 30 minutes to get my car back when I got there. The engine started smoking and shaking immediately. This company seems very dishonest to me and I put their "work" on my Facebook page if you'd like to see what kind of services they offer. I recorded my entire interaction with them via livestream.

I would not recommend this Firestone location. I asked multiple times for a price quote for the issues with my car, but they never provided one and didn’t update me until I called them. They didn’t do any work on my car but still charged me $150 for a diagnostic I had already explained. They claimed I needed a new engine, but after getting a second opinion, I found out that wasn’t the case. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this location.

Horrible place to take your vehicle. They lie and try to charge you for their mistakes, if you are not aware of your vehicle condition beforehand. Mr. Adam, the service specialist, is not at all honest, he lies one after another to cover up their mistakes. I went to 864 SE Maynard Rd, Cary, NC 27511, location to check one of the tired for slow air leak. 6 minutes before I went there it was checked at Discount tire store the reading was 41 and couldn't fix because of lack of special lifting equipment. After the car was jacked up and tire removed, and the technician was trying to remove tire from the rim something happened, and he started shaking his head and pacing around. I saw all of this from waiting area. Few minutes later Mr. Adam informed me that can my wife pick me up because the car can't be driven, and they need to order new tire. I told him that fill in some air and I will come back when the new tire is here. He said the tire was toured up due to driving on flat tire. I confronted him and said it was never flat; pressure was just down to 41, I drove it there and they drove it to repair bay and found no external damage to tire. He said your car has run flat tires that's why I was able to drive but my car never had Run Flat tires (later confirmed by his colleague about that). When I asked, can I see the tire, he took me inside. When I saw the tire, I was shocked, it was toured down on 2 places and the tares are fresh. I asked the tech who was working on it, did you damaged the tire when trying to take it out from rim, he said that is what exactly happened, the equipment got slipped of and toured up the tire and he told that to Mr. Adam. When I asked Mr. Adam you should have been honest and told me that the tire got damaged, and it will be replaced free of cost. He said there was communication gap. He was trying to cover up that and tried to make by pay for new tire. Finally, after I said you need to replace with new tire free of charge, he agreed to it. Please see pictures attached.
Don't believe in Mr. Adam. He is not an honest guy, lie to cover up another lie, try to fool you and pay for his mistakes. Wondering how he treats elderly people who come to him for help.

Liked this place when Rance worked there. He was honest about what needed to be fixed and what didn't, and didn't try to upsell you. I wouldn't pay Firestone for work on my car anyway but I go for rotations and inspections and Rance would walk you out and show you what's what on your car and explain things.
Recently went and he wasn't there and they gave me an $1800 list of things that need to be done. Half the things we're recently done and in fact don't need to be replaced and the other half are overpriced.
Iridium sparkplugs $30 each (can get NGK for $12), $500 labor
A $100 plenum gaskets that costs $8 for an OEM one
A serpentine belt and tensioner $200 ( I got one with an idler too for $70) +$200 labor, it took me 45 minutes to do myself.
$120 fuel system cleaning whatever that means
They had labor listed to replace 2 belts on my car, but there is only one belt. I would take my business elsewhere.

I visited Firestone for a check engine system lean issue. After waiting for three hours, they recommended a brake fluid exchange, which didn't address my original issue at all. I specifically requested a smoke test and fuel pressure test, but they didn't perform either. It felt like a complete waste of time and money. Very dissatisfied with the service provided.

This review actually will cover this location, Apex, and Holly Springs. Please do your research and check out other places to take your car. Or you will be sorry.
This will be a long review.
This location. My service engine light came on along with oil pressure light warning after being pushed off the road by a logging truck. Called this location and was told I could bring it right over. This was 10 in the morning. By 5pm they still hadn't even looked at it, and at the time I dealt with Lee who was extremely rude. My car stayed there for three days. They replaced the sensor and did an oil change. That day and the next my car alert for low oil pressure kept going on. I took my car back the next day and was told by Lee there is oil in the car and I had to come back the next day. Which I couldn't. I ended up dumping a lot of oil into my car until I could get it back in. When I came back. I was asked if I'd been running my AC. As they tried to say it was condensation. No. It was the oil I had just put in it. Whatever they did wrong was never addressed and I never received an actual answer about what had happened other than my oil wasn't actually staying where it needed to be. Duh. Thankfully I got it back prior to blowing my engine so they could fix what they did wrong. I think they drained the oil but didn't bother to put any back in. Bottom line. Also when I asked about compensation for all the oil I bought due to their negligence I was told they would give me my next oil change for free, as if I'm coming back. Probably made the manager that day happy as I travel in my car a lot and he even commented how it is always filthy. Hello. 9 years old and 205,000 miles.
Apex location.
Went here for maintenance. The manager Mark told me my oil pan was bent and would be 600 dollars to replace. Also had an alignment done.
When they did the aligment they didn't put the steering rod back in correctly. I found out because I took my car elsewhere to have brakes and rotors done because I didn't trust this location to do so. Good thing. The bent oil pan which would have been 600? They bent it back for me for free. And alerted me what happened with my steering rod could have been deadly if it had come out.
Holly Springs location.
Service engine light came on
They had my car for a week so the "master tech" could look at it. He diagnosed an emissions issue which I had taken it previously to the dealer for so it was still under warranty.
I took it back to the dealer, and found out for Firestone to diagnose what they did? They would have had to do a vapor test on my car. Which was NEVER done.
This is a brief summary of these locations. I did reach out to corporate about my steering rod. Never heard back.
They don't care about the customer. They care about numbers. Unfortunately it is going to take someone's death before their negligence is addressed.
Thankfully have since found an awesome NOT CORPORATE mechanic which also details cars on the spot. So grateful for both. Shame on you Firestone.

This Firestone no longer cares about customers. I brought in my car because the check engine light was on for an oil sensor. After two hours they told me I needed a new transmission. I paid $128 for diagnostics. I then went to a solid transmission for diagnosis specific to the transmission. They found a significant oil leak in 15 minutes. Firestone said nothing to me about an oil leak. When I spoke to Rick, the new manager, he essentially tried to gaslight me and say I brought it in to get the transmission checked. That is false information. I told him I essentially feel that he stole $128 from me and politely ended the call after advising him I would be calling corporate. I'm done with this store and Firestone in general. I do not tolerate dishonest business practices.

I had to come back and edit my rating, as my latest experience here has changed my opinion. I used to like coming to Firestone because it was an affordable option for me, esp with my Firestone credit card, but recently I had to come in because my alternator broke. A 80 dollar part, cost me $800 dollars! Absolutely insane to me, and if I didnt need my car back ASAP, I would of left and shopped around. Not to mention, dealing with their manager Lee is like pulling teeth. Customer service skills are subpar at best. I had to call 3x to even have them start working on my car, to then be charged $800 bucks for it to be fixed, again for a $80 dollar part. Needless to say, I may be taking my services elsewhere as it seems yet another corporation is taking advantage of inflation and charging customers out the wahzoo, as I'm sure their CEO is raking in record profits. I'm moving on to another auto company and I'm advising others to do the same.

Scheduled appointment via the website for a Oil Change. They called and re-scheduled for a later time. Came exactly at appointment time and had to wait 4:00 hrs in store for an oil change and car care package.
I have to follow up a couple of times regarding the service. Finally after 2.5 HRS wait they put the car in bay and 1.5 HR for actual service.
At 11:00 AM another person showed up and he said I will wait in store, the associate replied it will be all day. Then the customer argued I have an appointment, and the associate replied "APPOINTMENT IS FOR WALKING INTO THE DOOR ONLY". Of course that customer left.
1. If you can't honor your appointments why the hell they are there in the first place.
2. Service time is horrible.
3. Fix the website appointment system or remove it.
Never again to the Cary Store!!

I would recommend going to a different Auto Care than this location. One staff member in particular was extremely rude, lacked basic communication skills, and made my time here more complicated than needed. Let this review be a sign to take your business elsewhere.

I always love Firestone, but these guys were great. They started with the cheapest possible option and only charged me for what actually solved my problem. They went above and beyond to communicate the repairs to my vehicle.
