The Northwest Cary YMCA, located in Cary, NC, is a non-profit dedicated to serving the community. This YMCA shares a site with Crosspointe Church and offers a large gym, group fitness classes, wellness floor, outdoor pool, and programming for youth, adults, and teens. The facility is clean, beautiful, and has a great variety of classes and equipment, though it can be competitive to get into some classes, especially cycling. Customers praise the YMCA's spaciousness, new and modern amenities, including a working sauna and steam room, and an indoor track that circles the workout areas. The childcare services are also well-received, with visitors feeling welcomed and comfortable. However, one visitor noted that the YMCA's holiday hours were not accurately reflected, and some treadmills were not working during a previous visit.
Really, really, really GREAT gym. The only thing I really wish it had was more hip abductorl/adductor machines. There is only one and it is ALWAYS in use, or if you do get a chance to use it it'll only be a couple of sets before somebody is asking to hop on. Otherwise great gym!
