“I have only had pets, two cats, for three years so this is the first veterinary practice I've had experience but they have set a very high bar for me.
I had a lot of questions and fretted a lot and they were very receptive to my phone calls and more frequent booking of appointments when I was fretting over them more.
Their entire staff is very personable. We have had appointments with several of their doctors over these three years and I feel like they go above and beyond to provide the best care.
They have even dedicated some of their exam rooms for specific animals. We were seen today in a room especially for cats. They provide climbable surfaces, soft toys, pheromones for calming effects, amongst other small touches. These provided a noticeable effect for our cats.
I truly recommend giving them a try if you are looking for a vet!”

The techs are very seasoned as well.”
“I’ve been taking my dogs to VCA for twelve years now. I’ve seen other veterinarians come and go from the practice but Dr. de Silvia has been a permanent fixture there. She treats every concern with thoughtfulness and a willingness to discuss differential diagnoses, provides all options without pressuring you to proceed in a specific way; she cares about her clients and respects the owners. Kyleigh is an excellent manager, and all of the vet techs we’ve had have been compassionate and competent. VCA hospitals are owned by the Mars company (yes, your favorite gas station snack provider has their hands in the pet care game) and your local VCA hospital
does not set the prices. Vet care has become more expensive than, say, what it was in the early aughts, but I cannot recall a time I walked out of the clinic thinking that I’d just been bamboozled for unnecessary treatments. They know their stuff, they’ll refer you to specialists if your pet needs something that’s outside of their scope of practice, and they care what happens to your pet. We love the team at Cornerstone and trust them, literally, with our pets lives.”

“Our English bulldog had a planned CT scan here where she had to be fully sedated. It went great! I was so nervous because she has a lot of health issues in general & is a bit older. But they were so sweet to her & they adored her & kept me updated throughout the entire thing & assured me our sweet girl would be okay. I would definitely recommend this place!”
“Our dog Cooper has diabetes and suddenly lost his vision within 5 days. It was extremely scary for both him and us. Our emergency vet referred us to Animal Eye Care in Cary, and they were able to see is the following day! Cooper was a candidate for cataract surgery, and they scheduled him a week later. Both Dr. Rajotte and Dr. Rodriguez have been incredible - nothing short of miracle workers. Cooper had his surgery and immediately had his vision back, which gave him his confidence back too. With lots of drops and follow ups, we felt at ease knowing Cooper's health and vision were in the best hands with the doctors and the amazing staff. Everyone I've interacted with at Animal Eye Care clearly cares for our pets and go above and beyond expectation. I truly believe Vetco and Dr. Shannon Raboin saved my baby’s life. During the week of Thanksgiving, my 3 year old dog Nola was diagnosed with pyometra, a life threatening uterine infection. She had lost 10 pounds, was withdrawn, had no appetite, and I knew in my heart something was wrong.
We were told she needed emergency surgery. Even though it was the day after the holidays, the Vetco team came in on their day off just to operate on her. That alone meant everything to me as a terrified dog mom. Dr. Raboin was compassionate, patient, and treated Nola like she was his own. I never once felt rushed or dismissed.
The vet later told us if we had waited any longer, she would not have made it through the weekend. Hearing that broke me, but knowing this team acted quickly and with so much care is something I will never forget. Seeing Nola afterward, still groggy from anesthesia but wagging and happy to see us, was a moment I will hold onto forever.
This experience was emotional, scary, and overwhelming, but Vetco made it bearable. Because of Dr. Raboin and his team, my girl is here, healed, running, and back to being herself. I am beyond grateful. If you are ever faced with an emergency and need a team that truly cares, this is the place you want your baby to be.

And when it came their times to go which was over a span of 18 months as they were within a year in age of each other, the Vets at Banfield were very kind and sympathetic. They all passed peacefully when it was their time to go. Their care by the Banfield Cary (on Walnut St.) team before their passings was extremely attentive and good. And our new mini schnauzer puppy is being well cared for as well. We are very grateful for all they have done for us and our pets.”
