“I have only had pets, two cats, for three years so this is the first veterinary practice I've had experience but they have set a very high bar for me.
I had a lot of questions and fretted a lot and they were very receptive to my phone calls and more frequent booking of appointments when I was fretting over them more.
Their entire staff is very personable. We have had appointments with several of their doctors over these three years and I feel like they go above and beyond to provide the best care.
They have even dedicated some of their exam rooms for specific animals. We were seen today in a room especially for cats. They provide climbable surfaces, soft toys, pheromones for calming effects, amongst other small touches. These provided a noticeable effect for our cats.
I truly recommend giving them a try if you are looking for a vet!”
“Dr. Hodges spent so much time with us. He did a full examination on our dog Millie. I used to work as a veterinarian technician and honestly, I was more impressed than the veterinarian I worked for. He felt all of her joints, he looked over her entire body. He touched in everything, honestly everything. I left there feeling 100% confident in the money I spent.”

“shoutout to everyone at Petsound ?? finding the perfect vet for my dog has been troubling, and after my first visit at petsound today, I can thankfully say I found the one!! My previous (2-3?) vets not only charged an arm and a leg for basic examinations, but they also weren’t the best when it came to caring for my dog. I have a boxer mix who is pretty defensive, and my old vet would literally look at my dog like he was a dinosaur. she wouldn’t get close to him and wouldn’t even talk to him, and I felt like my dog could some how sense the fear. I understand that caution should be taken when approaching any dog, but the way they handled my dog was wild? On top of that, they wanted to charge me over $400 just to treat his ear infection. They said he would require sedation because he showed aggressiveness (mmm wonder why)
Everyone at petsound was amazing and i can’t recommend this place enough. All it took for them to see my dog was a quick phone call with the suuuuuper kind woman who works at the front. They don’t overcharge you, they show care for your animals, and they do everything necessary to resolve any problems. once again, shoutout to the kind ppl at petsound??”
“I have been taking my dogs to Northwoods for about 25 years. We have seen various vets throughout the years, most recently Dr. Hudson and Dr. Chappel. They are always kind and compassionate and it always feels like they take their time and make sure you know everything you need to about your pet. The vet techs always take their time to put my nervous dog at ease. The staff at the front is always friendly and helpful. I would recommend Northwoods to anyone who loves their pets.”

“Our English bulldog had a planned CT scan here where she had to be fully sedated. It went great! I was so nervous because she has a lot of health issues in general & is a bit older. But they were so sweet to her & they adored her & kept me updated throughout the entire thing & assured me our sweet girl would be okay. I would definitely recommend this place!”
“Our dog Cooper has diabetes and suddenly lost his vision within 5 days. It was extremely scary for both him and us. Our emergency vet referred us to Animal Eye Care in Cary, and they were able to see is the following day! Cooper was a candidate for cataract surgery, and they scheduled him a week later. Both Dr. Rajotte and Dr. Rodriguez have been incredible - nothing short of miracle workers. Cooper had his surgery and immediately had his vision back, which gave him his confidence back too. With lots of drops and follow ups, we felt at ease knowing Cooper's health and vision were in the best hands with the doctors and the amazing staff. Everyone I've interacted with at Animal Eye Care clearly cares for our pets and go above and beyond expectation. We are so grateful and would recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone who is considering cataract surgery or eye care for their pet!!”

I truly believe Vetco and Dr. Shannon Raboin saved my baby’s life. During the week of Thanksgiving, my 3 year old dog Nola was diagnosed with pyometra, a life threatening uterine infection. She had lost 10 pounds, was withdrawn, had no appetite, and I knew in my heart something was wrong.
We were told she needed emergency surgery. Even though it was the day after the holidays, the Vetco team came in on their day off just to operate on her. That alone meant everything to me as a terrified dog mom. Dr. Raboin was compassionate, patient, and treated Nola like she was his own. I never once felt rushed or dismissed.
The vet later told us if we had waited any longer, she would not have made it through the weekend. Hearing that broke me, but knowing this team acted quickly and with so much care is something I will never forget. Seeing Nola afterward, still groggy from anesthesia but wagging and happy to see us, was a moment I will hold onto forever.
This experience was emotional, scary, and overwhelming, but Vetco made it bearable. Because of Dr. Raboin and his team, my girl is here, healed, running, and back to being herself. I am beyond grateful. If you are ever faced with an emergency and need a team that truly cares, this is the place you want your baby to be.
