“My dogs always went to Dr. K until we had to move, which we went to multiple other vets in our new location.. when we moved back to Wilmington Dr. K took my dogs back even though he was not accepting new clients and it had been 3 years since we last saw him. He diagnosed my dog with a heart murmur during a random visit due to my dog having an upset stomach. He spent hours with me and my dog performing xrays and talking about options. No other vet had caught this. Dr. K called me to check on my dog after we went to the cardiologist he recommended (same day) and he really gets to know his patients and their owners. I cannot say more good enough things about him. Also all of the ladies up front are so nice, friendly, and caring. It’s just a great vet all together.”

Everyone there was absolutely amazing and kind. We went in just for an appointment to determine what is the best for Kitty. Amputation was the best option for him. The surgeon wasn’t scheduled to do it that day but with how bad Kitties paw was he did. These people care about the animals. Thanks to everyone there , y’all truly saved kitty’s life.”

“We have been with Dineen for over a year, but this is the first time we needed to have our dog go under anesthesia with them. Great experience, all of the staff supportive, informative and friendly especially to our dog. We were updated as soon as the procedure was done and were given comprehensive instructions for post operative care.We appreciated the estimate range we ware given prior to the appointment. They do not have any control over the health of an animal or whether they find teeth that need to be extracted, but our dog was in pretty good shape and the bill was at the very low end of the estimate.Thanks again.”

“so compassionate and professional!!! i can’t say good enough things about the staff here. unfortunately, our pup lost his battle with cancer very recently. on his last day they gave him bacon and chocolate and allll the lovings and throughly explained everything to us as it was happening. i was a complete basket case through the whole process and they really were beyond kind. i really just wanted to write this review in the hopes that the women that helped us that day (it was all a blur i don’t remember their names, unfortunately) see this and know that their empathy did not go unnoticed! thank you so much, WAH.”

There were about 6 ladies working behind the desk and we were pleasantly greeted by one of them. “Have taken our doggies here as our previous place began having booking issues too far out. I have found that in Wilmington, you simply MUST book dog-trims out at least 2-3 weeks. If you're in a pinch for immediate appt's you'll be sincerely lucky to get anything same-week. This location was not our first choice, but has become my favorite!! The price is as-usual for the area, slightly better than the boo-gie 'boutique' places. Paula has done our doggies trim/bath the last 2 visits and she is WONDERFUL. She does fabulous trim work (we shave our pups) and I'm quite impressed at the lack of shave lines, it's actually hard to do that with larger dogs & especially our blonde girl when her coat shows everything. They are always prompt, my dogs are there maybe 3 hours, some of the prior places took 4-5 hours! The appointment text & email system is great too. Very happy we gave them a try!!”
