Piggly Wiggly is a store with a meat department that is unrivaled and off the hook, better than other major supermarkets. It is a great place for fresh meats where customers can find really great deals and early morning markdowns. The store has good prices and a little food bar at the deli with some good, cheap ready-to-eat food. However, the rest of the store rates about average, with a little dated interior and a tendency for some items to sit a little too long. Some note that customer service can be rude and that frozen items are hardly ever stocked. Despite these issues, many love the store and are rooting for it to stay open.

I was surprised that the prices were so much more reasonable than other supermarkets, and the selection was better as well. They had several items that I haven't seen in the area. The store may not be as new or as glamorous as some, but at the end of the day you save money here and get items that you can't find elsewhere.
