I have worked for this bank for 7 years, so it's very hard for me to say this, but if you are a small business, avoid this bank like the plague. I have literally never had a worse experience with any financial institution than this bank which is supposedly known for being good for small business. Not only have they lost my mortgage business, but after six months of complete incompetence of the bankers, taking multiple phone calls and six months to get checks, being charged every month for fees that were the fault of the bank which they could never correct, I've never been more infuriated. They do not understand their own products and services and are unable to fix their own problems. The bankers at this branch could care less, besides I ONLY do six figure in accounts receivables so I'm just a small fish, not worth their time! Every time they screwed up they did refund me after point out their mistakes, but they never corrected the problems the next month. So insulting. The banker named Breana Schantz (
[email protected]) completely blew me off after account opening and was absolutely useless. Her background as a teacher doesn't really translate to banking. I had to go to her manager to complain, but eventually I gave up and had Breana close my account. What a waste. Take your business anywhere else!!!! I was sure to show them the $60,000 check I deposited at Wells Fargo, they are treating me with respect and dignity and work hard for my money. Also, after losing my business, they keep sending me emails asking about my experience, but when I call I keep getting put on hold. What a joke. The merger with Suntrust will not be good for BB&T so consider any other bank or credit union!
