The worst bank of all time. Especially after the SunTrust merger the customer service has gone completely nonexistent. Zero locations open on a Saturday despite the hours showing as open. Absolutely no excuses. I drove 40 minutes because this was the only location in the Charlotte area is showing as open for it to be closed.

I bought a new vehicle and the following day removed the warranty in the amount of $8000, Ethos Group sent out a check to Truist with all of my information, Truist then deposited the $8000 to an account that wasn’t mine on 4/19/2022, I had to contact Ethos to make sure they sent the check which is when they stated it was sent and cashed by the bank on 4/19/2022. I called Truist bank 20 times from 4/20/2022-4/26/2022(today) and they still have no removed my money from the account they placed it in into my account to apply toward my loan, Truist fraud department has stated they were unable to reverse the $8000 check that clearly wasn’t supposed to go into someone else’s account.

I had trouble logging in to the bank website. I called and spoke with a young lady by the name of Jasmine. I was aggravated and ill because of the merger with my current bank, SunTrust. It was causing me stress because i was unable to log into my account and make my vehicle payment. I had already been on hold for 30 minutes using the 800 number so my emotions were already high. Jasmine was very understanding, professional, and mature about the matter and she was able to help me solve my issue in just a few minutes. Jasmine renewed my faith in Good Customer Service. Thank you so much Jasmine. I will not forget what you have done.

After over a hour long wait at the bbt drive thru (that I only come to because my company banks with them) I came to make my deposits and get change for my store (some 10’s 5’s quarters and pennies $60 worth ) the teller took all my deposits did them and then told me she couldn’t give me coins for my company then then gives me back a $20 bill and 40 singles when I didn’t ask for singles at all. I’m disgusted at bb&t because they can’t accommodate the needs of a businesses that banks with them for $60 dollars worth of change my company can make deposits at ANY BANK so I will find one that can accommodate our SMALL change request.

I would give zero stars if I could. The staff needs to be trained on how to address a customer with respect and dignity. The ladies at the window counter were nothing short of demoralizing and rude as my son was trying figure out why they had someone else’s name on our safe deposit box.

I've been going to this bank for years now, and I have NEVER had such a positive experience. Jordan, Magda, Brenda and Matt have been tremendously helpful... They're amazing! Highly recommend :)

I have had great experience with BB&t banking with them for over 30 years. I used to bank with what was first Union which morphed into wachovia, then morphed into Wells Fargo and had a very negative experience with that organization. I had more money in my bank account then was being asked for on a mortgage and was told I did not make enough money. What a joke I went to BB&t and was approved immediately.

If you go here steer clear of Jordan Palmer, a teller. Very unprofessional, horrible customer service skills and was unwilling to notarize a document despite the person being in front of him with ID. Never in my time being a BBandT customer have I ever had such an encounter of someone stonewalling unwilling to help. I hope this is not the start of things to come with the Sun Trust, BBandT merger.

My sister and i went in there with our checks this past Wednesday. We went through the drive thru and were highly disappointed. She had asked my sister what kind of transaction she wanted. My sisters transaction went through smoothly, but when i handed my check in, the lady did not bother to ask me what kind of transaction I wanted. I waited a whole day for my money to deposit into my checking account. Let me be clear, we handed in TWO different bb&t cards and ID's. She did not even bother to look at my ID. As i wanted for my check to be in my account, i found that it was missing. I had to contact my sister to ask if my money was in her account, and MY check went into her account. This worker was very lazy and highly neglected to even check something so simple.

The BB&T off of the Providence Road location is HIGHLY disappointing. I typically visit this location out of its location-convenience. However, EVERY time I have visited to deposit a check I have always written on the check what I would like to do i.e. deposit only, cash only, etc. EVERY time any teller I visit is apparently illiterate; they always ask, “Would you like to cash or deposit?” Well... i would like for you to read, actually. This final visit, I planned to deposit a check into my account, handed the check and debit card to the teller, waited, then was asked for my I.D. and told I was “required” to fill out a deposit slip.... though she had my debit card in-hand. I have also NEVER been asked to fill out a deposit slip to deposit into my own account. I also requested the check be deposited as cash and was simply told “I can not authorize that because I have already seen the deposit form.” Hmm. Seems to me you all lack firing brain receptors.
