Ordered a 3 carat total weight diamond bridal set (UC 0032964126564) Order cost $2702.95. On 11/22/23, FedEx called us and said they were delivering an empty package to our home. Belk had shipped this ring in a white padded bag as opposed to a box. The bag had gotten stuck in a piece of machinery, we still have the bag, and FedEx claims the contents was lost between Memphis and Pittsburgh. All of this was explained to Belk, but they still refuse to issue a refund or provide a replacement shipment of the ring. Every Belk representative says the dollar amount is above their authority and that it would have to go to “corporate” for a decision. This is horrific customer service. The only mistake we made was purchasing this ring from Belk. Belk's issue is with FedEx not with us as the customer but is punishing us as it appears they don’t want to provide a replacement or refund. Per FedEx - Belk has even filed not one, but two claims with FedEx, and still refuses to provide a re-shipment of the ring or a refund to us.

I have shopped at Belks for years but since the covid I started ordering on line. My last 2 return have been very disappointing the first one I returned a dress that did not fit right. So the packing slip it showed I ordered 2 of the sane. So I took it to the store the lady took the retune and gave me a refunded at lower price because they had since dropped price. Not having a printed receipt from a register I was not happy but its just a $10 difference and wanted to go home. Not happy but accepting. Now this time I set up the return on line to take the items (3 blouses too large) back to the store. I waited in line had my print out the packages they came in and when I got to the register he started he return and was going to scan the tags. I showed him the return slip I had printed and he said he didn't need it that he really did know what that was. In the end of all this transaction I was refunded $40 something dollars on a $54 + return.The location I use is Greenville Texas. With all this said I am going to cancel my card and never go back again. I am sending you this because it is kind of my fault for not bucking them but there was a long line and a lot of people were waiting to check out. I just thought you should know how the store is dealing with some returns because I know I can't be the only one.Thank You for your time.

This is for their online website. Their advertised online price was much lower than the price I would receive when checking out. I spent about an hour trying to add different vouchers and promo codes but could never get it to match their advertised price. I reached out to Customer Service and after half a day, they responded requesting proof of the lower cost. I took a screenshot so I sent it over right away, and now, radio silence. This is a classic bait and switch! Check out their complaints on BBB - my experience isn't uncommon!If anyone catches a pricing discrepancy, make sure you SAVE a screenshot! I'm disappointed at the super slow response from their Customer Service.Update: 7 days later, there's still no resolve. Absolutely atrocious service!

If there were a 0, I would put that.I ordered a jacket online. The jacket is too small. I have been told it is not a Belk item ( but I ordered it with my Belk card and on their online site). NO ONE WILL HELP ME RETURN THE ITEM TO GET MY MONEY BACK!!!!! I have called 3 times just to keep getting the run around from each person.I called to day (after 3 weeks) and was told something completely different. First I was told that if I didn't hear anything in 5-7 days to call Belk back. Today I was told two weeks.It is obvious the company ( Unique Bargains - Marketplace) is a Scam!! DO NOT ORDER ONLINE!!!!

I will never shop online at Belk! I returned two orders and paid the 9.95 times 2 for my 2 different orders. I only received a portion of my return, short 17 dollars. They opened a case, a week later nothing. I called CS and my case hadn't been touch!!! I spent 43 mins of my life being angry and trying to get CS to see their math waSNT right!!! Finally, after the back and forth, I got my 17 dollars. I am definitely staying at DILLARDS!!!! ITS A REASON THERE IS NO BELKS IN HOUSTON!!!!Shoppers beware!!!!!

Customer service is a joke. All of these companies have outsourced their customer service jobs overseas. The representatives don't understand what you're calling about so nothing gets resolved. I will take my sevice elsewhere. The promotions are never honored correctly. The pricing is never calculated correctly. Just poor service.

I just left Belk in Tuscaloosa, AL and I was completely shocked at the appearance of the store! The bedding department looked as if a tornado just came through! The displays for the bedding were not even made up!! Pillows and other items were all over the floor!! I went to the men’s department and FOUND 2 sales clerks who were unfriendly and had terrible customer service. Being a small town, we don’t have great choices for shopping and I had to run in for specifics. VERY disappointed with the entire store!!I used the restroom while I was there and it looked run down and dirty! Sad!! Corporate needs to do a surprise visit and make huge changes!!Hire more people and clean it up!!!!

I’ve been a standing platinum card holder of Belk’s for many years. Today’s events made me change my views on Belk and their integrity. My daughter and I encountered a very aggressive customer that verbally and physically attacked my daughter and verbally acted me when I asked what happened.The AP security guy dropped the ball and so did the store manger (he did not contact police and a call was made to the store manger without any outcome or solutions) and they did nothing or even approach the aggressive customer that attacked us. I should have called the law so this could have been documented but after being attacked verbally and physically your mind isn’t thinking that way. So, need less to say Belk’s will no longer receive our business or anyone in our family. Belk’s please do better for your loyal customers.

Dealt with someone named Leia Bangs. Not only was she extremely condescending answering my questions about makeup for my wife (every answer seemed to be an inconvenience) she was borderline racist. Every time a POC walked by she scoffed and stared at them. It is a shame she is a face of the company.

I made a $312.xx purchase (which consisted of several clothing items and 1 pair of shoes) at Belk store located in McDonough, Ga approximately 2 weeks ago. I returned one skirt and 1 pair of shoes with my receipt however I did not have my debit card because it had been misplaced. I was told that the money had to go back on the card and that they would have to give me a Gift Card. I later called the store number and asked to speak with Store Manager. However, the associate that I spoke to (as it turned out) was not the store manager and basically told me the same thing that the Clerk had told me. This was supposed to be Store Policy however it's not written on the receipt. If I have my receipt, I should be able to get a cash refund. That is so unacceptable. This was not the first time that I made a purchase from Belk, however, they have lost a customer. This tactic that is presenting as a Store Policy is a mere way to keep the money in the store. I dare you receive my money gracefully from my bank account and in the event, I bring an item back with the receipt within a timely manner and you refuse to give me my money back. I view this as an unethical business practice. I tried calling corporate but not able to speak to anyone. Belk you need to do better! The love of money is the root of all evil!

Yesterday, I went shopping at what used to be my favorite store. No more registers and helpers throughout the store. Only dressing rooms open were the two (men and women) in the middle of the store. I miss the sweet lady that used to help me in the lingerie section, the dressing rooms and checkout there. So I walked to the middle of the store and had to wait in line for a dressing room. After I made my choices, I walked up to the front to check out. There were at least 15 people waiting in line. I walked out without purchasing anything. This is Belk, not Ross’s. I also noticed when I did my Christmas shopping online at Belk as I usually do, there were a lot of woke or green statements in the description of the clothes. I think I will return my Belk credit card and find a new store that appreciates their customers. It’s not Belk anymore.

If you own Belk stock, Sell! Sell! Sell!This is the system they have set up, so there is no doubt they will soon close their doors. Pitiful!Tried to buy clothes in-store and I could not access the Belk App because the store "doesn't have wi-fi and cell access in the building is weak". So they would not provide the discounts.Had the manager, who enlisted 4 additional staff member to try to access the Belk app on my phone to no avail.So, I did not buy the clothing because I could "not provide the discount without the app coupon". No offer to assist with the discount. So abandoned the clothing I had selected in-store, but I did ask the manager to order a sports coats (didn't have my size) and see if she could get the 50% off discount. She placed the order and said it would be delivered to my home by Monday.Welcome to Wednesday!I called customer service, the voicemail instructed me to provide my 10 digit phone number and a link would appear to provide me with a tracking link with my order number. After four attempts, no text ever arrived.start over...Hold for 12 minutes to speak to a human. Of course, they could only tell me the order was probably sent USPS, but they have no confirmation that it was ever shipped.This company is so behind the times, they deserve to close!

I went to the Friendly Center location in Greensboro after a 3 year hiatus and was appalled by what has happened to one of previous favorite shopping venue.I needed two men’s jackets and a few dress shirts, socks, etc. the products available would have not been out of place at Kohl’s, target or any third tier retailer.I went to a men’s clothier and when I left I had what I was looking for, they had a $684.21 sale; Belk made nothing.The apparent decision to focus on less appropriate adult wear is not proving a good model. I, and other associates, realize the situation and have decided not to trouble your staff with our needs or their time.

My sons brought me a $200 gift card for Belks for Christmas 2022 and I went shopping, handed my card to the associate who scratched off the pin number with scissors, then we could not recognize the pin number therefore I could not use my card and had to leave the store without my merchandise. Called customer service and I have been getting the runaround since January 2, 2023. I expected better of this from Belks. I have not received my replacement card. I have the original receipt for my gift card. My sons money will not be wasted. I will continue to call and leave reviews until my card is replaced.
