“I went to New York Bride & Groom to find a wedding dress today and it was the BEST experience Ive had trying on dresses. It was a Saturday, no appointments needed, and I was helped immediately. I am very picky and spent several hours in the store and even though I didnt find MY perfect dress, I cannot recommend this shop enough. My consultant (I believe her name was Carrie) spent hours with me making suggestions, doing gymnastics to get me into dresses to see exactly what they would look like tailored to me, went above and beyond for me without rushing me, constantly reassuring me and asking if I needed anything. When I was picking wedding dresses out, so many consultants were around to take dresses back to your dressing room for you and offering helping hands for more difficult dresses without you needing to go find anyone. The manager? (Not sure her exact title but she was the consultant's boss) even came out and contacted the designer to give me suggestions and see if dresses I liked could have aspects changed to exactly what I wanted! They have so many wedding dress options in so many styles and sizes (I am a size 18 and tried on like 20 dresses with so many more to spare). If you are looking for a place to have a true say yes to the dress moment, this is the place to go. I am sad about not finding a dress here because I really want to continue to support this store and the great service they gave me.”
“I had the BEST experience finding my dream dress with J Major’s. To start I was browsing what boutiques/shops to visit to try on dresses & their website was so easy to navigate & learn more from & view options that would be available. Plus their site gave an inclusive & warm feeling I loved —So I knew I had to go! Then I spotted my dream dress on the site & inquired via email, the Owner Madison got back to me promptly & helped guide me on availability to try on said dream dress & with recommendations based on the dress I inquired on! Next the appointment I went to with my mom with Kelcie helping us was fabulous! She made AMAZING suggestions helping me pick out additional flattering options, giving me time to think, assistance with getting on/off the gowns & made me feel comfortable & at home the whole time! I said yes to the dress & the finalization & measurements process was a breeze! A true family owned environment & the most LOVELY people that’ll make your day! So excited for my dress!!”

The day before my appointment, my fiancé had an unexpected family issue and they were very considerate and ready to accommodate any last minute changes with my appointment. It was a complex alteration due to a big weight change from the time I bought the dress, but she made it look easy. Her vast experience was evident throughout the process. Marta listened to any concerns and changes I wanted and adjusted accordingly. She also bustled it perfectly even though it was a lot of dress so that I could dance the night away very comfortably! I cannot thank her enough for all the work she put in to making my dress absolutely beautiful and at a very reasonable price!”
