Davis General Merchandise is an amazing, original old time general store and a true gem. It is a historical hardware store with a huge selection inside. They carry a little of everything, including lots of hard to find stuff like hand tools, clothes, hardware, lawn and garden supplies, feed and seed, and unique specialty foods. The store is set out nicely with great prices, and you can buy just one of something. The people are very nice, super helpful, and run the store well. It is a treasured place, like stepping back in time, and is worth the trip. Try here first.
This place is an absolute historic treasure! They carry a great variety of Lodge cookware, gardening supplies, hardware and Carhartt plus a lot of unique items and still use most original fixtures.

Great customer service !! Picked up a cast iron pan and a pot. Also got sausage links from a local source (The taste was amazing). All items pack in a box and a very young man carried it to my car.

Always enjoy shopping here! My grandfather bought on credit there in the 1920s. My parents shopped there. I've bought dungarees, galvanized wash bins, seedlings, honey, etc
