“One of the cool things about Ace Hardware stores is that they're each a little different. Unlike the big box that are quite formulaic, these stores sometimes have different stock and merchandise. So as I'm preparing for my RV plumbing project, I thought to check out a different store to see if they had different stuff. And yes, they did.
With a friendly helper offering assistance and advice, I'm still not quite ready to begin but now I have a better idea of how I'm going to run the piping and the cables to make sure it all works and doesn't leak.”
“I went in to get some keys made and was met immediately by 2 young employees who assisted me made my keys and a third employee who took the payment.
I asked (jokingly) if they didn’t like me because they got me out so quickly and professionally.
The cashier said nope, we just want to give you good service and they did! Well organized and clean. Great business!”
“This place is an absolute historic treasure! They carry a great variety of Lodge cookware, gardening supplies, hardware and Carhartt plus a lot of unique items and still use most original fixtures.”

This location has all of the symptoms of effective management! They seem to specialize in building healthy relationships with the community and creating repeat customers. I love this location!!”

“Last year, I purchased over $20,000 in tools from a competitor just a few minutes from my house. The next week, they acted like they never saw me before. When one of those tools broke, and was in for repair for over a month, they did not show any concern. I decided to write to Rockler of Charlotte, who had not even sold me the tool, and they contacted the manufacturer and resolved the problem. Now, instead of driving 7 minutes to the competitor's store, I drive a half hour for even the smallest item. I would rather drive to Rockler where they care about customers, than go around the corner where they do not. Thanks not only to Jeff, the manager for resolving this, but to the other employees who are always very friendly and helpful.”

“Very friendly staff, the greeter Ana had a smile that one can't resist she is so talkative when you walk in this is so great! The store is bright and open, clean and stocked don't know why others complain about it because they have nothing else to do Ryan took great care of my warranty even though my lawnmower was there for over a month THERE IS A THING CALLED PATIENCE I know everyone has rhier problems with the public but they do tell you before you drop it off how long it will take to service it (some folks just don't listen) but I live this place keep up the good work Ryan and keep Jeff and Ana Thank you and God bless you guys ?”
“Always nice to get somethings cheap that you won't use often. It is a bit annoying and dangerous to have the aisles with empty box's all over the floor's from stocking the shelfs, I almost tripped.”

Very knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with! I definitely prefer here over those big box stores like Lowe's or home Depot where no one knows anything when asked for help.”

“I am undertaking a pretty serious plumbing job replacing all the fixtures in the tub without flooding the house so I have someone helping me and they gave me instructions of what to get. But they don't live here. The extent of my Plumbing experience is replacing the parts in a toilet tank.
In the plumbing section at Home Depot they sent Gabe to me.
Gabe was exactly the right person I needed to ask for help. He not only knew pretty much everything about what I was attempting, he was very patient listening to me and asking questions.
Were that store closer to me he would be my go-to person every single time ... in fact, I would probably call ahead and ask if he was there.

“Big trucks, from Brookshire (hwy 16) turn onto Hoskins. Once you cross train tracks (that has the safety bars) it’s the bldg on the right. Turn carefully into the first gate, turn left carefully and go around bldg for delivery.”

“I went in on a Sunday afternoon with my kids (4 and 6) to get a sample of paint to repair something they did… Barry at the paint counter was so nice and showed them how the machine put just a little of 3 dyes I to the white base, the machine shook it all up, and then what it looked like when it was ready. The kids were in awe and we had fun. The staff at self-checkout was equally nice and attentive helping us apply the military discount. The saying is true for us that you’re not really doing a project unless you go to Lowe’s twice… 🤣 That’s on us for planning and there are always helpful folks to point us to the right aisle or answer questions.”
