I had a follow-up call with Austin to determine when it would be best to start taking my benefits. He also reviewed my 401K and then met with me on a Zoom call and discussed all options available to me. He gave me a variety of options and we discussed the pros and cons. “Where to begin for what a blessing Hailee Jones has been to our family throughout the process of our family uprooting everything we have known for the past 11 years to start a new adventure.I guess at the beginning…For two years we have been selectively looking at new home location with a very definitive set of criteria. Realtors have come and more often gone due to our criteria of new home/property search and how hard it was to find. Fast forward to October of 2023 when we thought we had found the property we had been looking for. Made a call to Zillow and Hailee Jones entered our life. Turns out, that one did not work out and our expectation was that Hailee, just like the rest, would stop her search and we would not hear from her again.That is not what happened, she relentlessly searched and stayed in contact with us more than we could have ever expected. She found numerous properties that came close but didn’t quite check every box…Until she did!! The home of our dreams!! And it only took her three weeks.Although it checked every box it was just a bit over our price range. Hailee worked her magic and was able to not only negotiate on our behalf to get the price in our range, she also negotiated to make it a contingent offer so we could sell our house. She went the extra mile to inform the sellers about our dream and convince them that we were who was supposed to be in that house.Our house went on the market the week before Thanksgiving, the absolute worst time with the holidays to try to sell a house. Regardless of that, Hailee was at our house every weekend doing open houses missing out on what I can only imagine, countless family holiday functions and was able to sell our house in 4 weeks. She assisted us with all our questions and never missed a call, email or text even when they came in well past business hours. I sent roughly 165 emails, countless texts and every single one was responded to immediately. We were definitely “high maintenance” clients, but Hailee made us feel like we were the most important throughout every step.Hailee also assisted in every step of the mortgage process, spent countless hours on the phone with my mortgage company to provide me with the best information daily and ensured that I took every step I needed to finalize that part of the process. None of which is in her job description but was there for us, nonetheless. Hailee even assisted us in negotiating, scheduling, and rescheduling the moving company due to our buyers taking a last-minute trip to Mexico the week before our closing. The stress that Hailee took off our shoulders during those tense few days when we thought our dream was about to come to an end is immeasurable.There is no way for me to describe or put into words just how much personal attention we received from Hailee and I am sure that I missed many details of what she did for us in this review. “I recently needed to get something notarized and was dreading the trip to my bank (one of the "big box banks") that would probably eat up hours of my day. One suggestion came up that I should try calling Schwab to see if they offer the service, and they do!!Called ahead and Cooper told me that both persons manning the desk had the ability to notarize documents, no appointments needed.Later in the day, I made my way over to Schwab. The SouthPark location is super convenient, they have their own, dedicated parking lot that was easy to get in and out of.The counter is shared with TD Ameritrade, so once you figured out which side of the main desk to go to, it was a breeze. Cooper looked like he just came back from lunch, or a break but he remembered my voice from my phone query and we got to notarizing (with valid ID and documentation of course!)There was no line and the whole thing probably took 15min (I spent more time driving to the location I bet). Of course, I was only notarizing two documents (total of 6-8 pages of information for my professional engineering license... so I'm sure you need to allot for more time if you have a lot of paperwork to go through and review).It also helps that I am a Schwab account holder. Overall it was a great experience, and I need to think of them more often when I need to do "official business things" or in need of a notary.”
