“Can't speak highly enough of the crew here. I mostly worked with Juan but Adam (store manager) was also very kind and helpful. We started the process of designing online then went in store to see items in person. Juan walked me through the process and spent 1:1 time to make adjustments and provide guidance on the project. He was unbelievably patient with our questions and changes WITHOUT sales pressure, which is key. Equally the cost of the same exact brands at a boutique shop were significantly cheaper.
Bottom line, if you want to be woo'ed and spend more on a flashy presentation and do less leg work, Home Outlet won't be for you. But if you're willing to put some work in, head there. Honest guys, much less forceful, genuinely kind and knowledgable.”

“This experience was AWESOME! Not only did we get to learn how to make some amazing cocktails using Uncle Nearest by a Master Mixologist but we also got some history on the Uncle Nearest brand. If you live in Charlotte or will be passing through and you have a couple of hours to spare...I HIGHLY recommend signing up for a class with them. Trust me it's worth every penny and is the perfect date night, couples night, girls or boys night out. Just a great time for everyone! They also offer private classes you can do a minimum of 6 people and a maximum of 10. For my businesses, don't worry they got you covered too with Virtual Team building classes! Last but certainly not least, they have a shop up front for you to be able to purchase bitters, shakers, smokers, glitter, glasses, you name it! I also loved that the owner has a "bitters bar" for you to try it before you buy it!Will definitely be returning again in the near future!”

“Carolina Cooks is by far the top local restaurant supply source. Owned by a local restauranteur, they excel in service, responsiveness and fair prices. Our prep station's compressor died so we decided to replace it. I called Gershon and asked if he had one on the floor with the correct specs that could be delivered today, knowing that was an almost impossible request.He immediately ensured that the measurements would work, taking the time to measure all aspects of the unit. He then coordinated delivery THE SAME DAY and did this in a matter of 30 minutes. The delivery team literally was calling me in less than 2 hours, asking if they could come early to deliver. They also took the old one away for $100 which was very helpful. They are our number 1 partner for equipment and understand how difficult the F&B business is. Thank you Carolina Cooks team!”

“I called to see if they could repair my Zephyr hood, but unfortunately they don't do repairs. However, Greg and Alex put me in touch with 2 companies who do (and who both have 5-star reviews), so I was able to get in touch with a reputable service provider, instead of Googling and finding a random company who may or may not rip me off. The fact that they took time out of their day to help me with this, rather than saying "We don't do repairs" and hanging up on me, lets me know that I will be using/recommending them in the future when I need a new appliance or do any renovating. So, so nice and above and beyond!”
“Williams-Sonoma is known for its exceptional quality products. Unfortunately for me, the products also come with an exceptionally high price tag. Great for chefs and food professionals but a bit too pricey for home cooks.”

“I really love to go to IKEA. I mainly purchase a few small items, eat too many meatballs then limp home to Sanford. I went the last time to purchase a $2300 couch. I spoke with a rep in the couch section, told her what I needed, she ordered the three sectional pieces the ottoman and the appropriate amount of legs required for the set (or so I thought). Delivery day came and during assembly, I realized that they shorted me four legs. Now, first, why are legs sold separately? This just invites mistakes like I’ve encountered. I called customer service, they apologized then proceeded to charge me for the legs THEY failed to order and ship. I wasn’t terribly upset as they waived the shipping fee and emailed me a $35 in store coupon (which I will use to purchase loads of meatballs). So I wait about another week for the four legs to arrive. They did. Now, the legs did not come with the decorative fabric sleeve that every other leg on my sectional has. I know this is truly a “first world problem” but c’mon people. This is your job. Attention to detail and thoroughness is everything. Will I stop shopping at IKEA? No. Will I carry a personal vendetta against the Swedish for the rest of my life? No. Will I insist that the 22 year old placing my order read and re read my complete order back to me or have a second co worker check their math and accuracy? You betcha. I’ll be back IKEA, because your Swedish meatballs call to me on a deep spiritual, almost metaphysical level and your Lingonberry dressing on the side makes me feel like a young lad, once again running with careless abandon, through the bountiful wheat fields of Copenhagen.”

My latest project which included 2 bathrooms, laundry room and kitchen turned out beautifully, I will post pic’s later when house gets more put together.
