“The girl working the register was so friendly and helpful. I had a gift card and she gave me some great advice as to what was good. She recommended the pot roast, which was by far the best of the meats I purchased. I also got ham and turkey, both of which were ok but not amazing. She also helped me pick sides, all of which were really good. Especially the broccoli. The au gratin potatoes and cinnamon apples were also really good.”

“It seems like it’s under new management that renovated the place and supplied variety of goods from the Middle East and North Africa, and Yemeni goods in particular. The butchery seems to be having 2 butchers now, and this makes their work faster.
I wish them more growth and excellent customer service.”

“Came in a couple days ago, beautiful day outside and the “manager” was sitting at the bar on her computer. My husband and I had a wonderful server (I think her name was Michelle). Food was good. Coming from 20 years of food & bev experience myself, I just find it very unprofessional for the “General Manager” to micromanage the staff while sitting on her laptop during dinner rush, shopping on Amazon (I peeked at the screen)
Would never have even thought that she worked there until I overheard another table complain and her introduce herself.
One of our orders was incorrect, no fault to the server, and only wanted for it to be taken off the bill. Michelle spoke to the manager and she acted like it was a huge nuisance to do her job.
The kitchen makes mistakes. We are all human. We will be returning ONLY because of the the kindness of Michelle (and the drinks were great too 🙂)
The GM needs to do better.”
“For what it is it’s great. A lot of halal products here. Not the cheapest but at least it’s a place where halal items are available. It’s also not the cleanest, friendliest, or cheapest. Parking lot can be tight and difficult to access due to construction and traffic volume also. Go early.”

There are plenty of traditional products, and common areas are clean and there is plenty of free parking.Staff is super friendly and bilingual.100% recommended.”

“I have been to Paso in 40+ years. Im just here to thank Paso for looking out for my mom when she was a young, struggling single mother. The owner let her keep a tab so we could eat when her food stamps ran out. I do remember one time when he sold me a pack of rotten chicken and my mother put on her steel toe boots and reconciled the situation. Thanks for taking care of the community Paso.”

“My two friends and I were out in the ministry and really needed to use the restroom when we stumbled across this grocery store. We were so glad we did! The restrooms were very clean, which we truly appreciated. Everything was incredibly neat and aesthetically pleasing. The way the items were stocked and organized was beautiful..I’ve honestly never seen a supermarket so well arranged.. We noticed they had a buffet-style food section, so we decided to stay and give it a try and the Spanish food was absolutely delicious. The staff were all very nice and welcoming. I definitely recommend this place!”
“I've been coming here for 2 decades for 1 reason: fresh baked daily markouk. (IYKYK) Growing up in a Lebanese family and cooking all the best middle eastern foods - trust me when I say the markouk and Lebnah alone is worth the trip to this halal market (think bodega). Dingy, somewhat organized, and eclectic you can find everything from grains & meats, bulk sized tahini, junky trinkets to olives, hookah equipment and supplies, dried spices and middle eastern desserts. The market is attached to a bakery serving up all kinds of middle eastern foods - fatayer, knafe, pita, and much more! I recommend the minced meat and pine nut fatayer- so so good. It's a treasure hunt and is in a small area of Sharon Amity with a fair few other middle eastern spots to try like Al-Basha next door. If you're looking for the flavors of home (Lebanon, Syria) this is as close as charlotte can get.”

“Omaha Steaks were there for us in our darkest moment. Our house burned down on the 1st of January. I had placed an order over 300.00, to go on vacation on the 2nd. “Delicious meat. In fact this place has the only edible meat in all of North Carolina. Cheap prices except for the lamb/beef, but the quality and taste make up it. Very friendly staff and an assortment of international goods. Perfume, plates, and various kitchen appliances are also sold and I can confirm are decent quality. Spices are very cheap and sold in large amounts. My favorite store in America.”
