“Lowe's Foods is always a cute place that my family and I like to go when we need a few odds and ends! Even though a bit out of the way out in Harrisburg, Lowe's Foods is always staffed with the friendliest people and has great local foods. Our favorite thing to get here are the fresh Lowe's Foods hint of lime chips- my family is addicted!The items are a bit pricey, though, but the store makes up for it in it's cute ambiance and friendly staff. The beer den is also great with lots of choices and a very large selection of wine and local craft beers, which is hard to find.”
“Delicious meat. In fact this place has the only edible meat in all of North Carolina. Cheap prices except for the lamb/beef, but the quality and taste make up it. Very friendly staff and an assortment of international goods. Perfume, plates, and various kitchen appliances are also sold and I can confirm are decent quality. Spices are very cheap and sold in large amounts. My favorite store in America.”
“They have a great selection of meats, many that are not as easy to find in regular supermarkets. They have many fresh items as well as frozen and custom cut meats. Pricing is the only reason that I didn't give a full 5 stars. I do not expect bargain pricing for premium product but certainly more than expected.”
“The girl working the register was so friendly and helpful. I had a gift card and she gave me some great advice as to what was good. She recommended the pot roast, which was by far the best of the meats I purchased. I also got ham and turkey, both of which were ok but not amazing. She also helped me pick sides, all of which were really good. Especially the broccoli. The au gratin potatoes and cinnamon apples were also really good.”
“This grocery store is not one I frequent but a recent visit while looking for something in particular was quite delightful. I was greeted upon entering the store. Plus, someone took the time to speak with me about the specific item I was looking for and when it may be available from the manufacturer again. They treated me as if I had been coming there for years. Great customer service and nice people.”
“For what it is it’s great. A lot of halal products here. Not the cheapest but at least it’s a place where halal items are available. It’s also not the cleanest, friendliest, or cheapest. Parking lot can be tight and difficult to access due to construction and traffic volume also. Go early.”

My family ordered a bone-in ham, loaded smashed potatoes, baked apples, and the ham & Swiss sliders. EVERYTHING was delicious!”
“I've been coming here for 2 decades for 1 reason: fresh baked daily markouk. (IYKYK) Growing up in a Lebanese family and cooking all the best middle eastern foods - trust me when I say the markouk and Lebnah alone is worth the trip to this halal market (think bodega). Dingy, somewhat organized, and eclectic you can find everything from grains & meats, bulk sized tahini, junky trinkets to olives, hookah equipment and supplies, dried spices and middle eastern desserts. The market is attached to a bakery serving up all kinds of middle eastern foods - fatayer, knafe, pita, and much more! I recommend the minced meat and pine nut fatayer- so so good. It's a treasure hunt and is in a small area of Sharon Amity with a fair few other middle eastern spots to try like Al-Basha next door. If you're looking for the flavors of home (Lebanon, Syria) this is as close as charlotte can get.”
