Benjamin Moore Paints/Paint Depot Inc. is Charlotte's first and only woman-owned paint store, established in 1995. This independent retailer specializes in Benjamin Moore paint and stain, along with a range of unique products like Romabio limewash and Golden Paintworks wall finishes. Customers appreciate the quality paint and exceptional service provided by a knowledgeable and friendly staff. Many DIYers have found valuable guidance, particularly in color matching and selection, making it a preferred choice over larger chains like Lowes or Home Depot. Reviews highlight the store's commitment to customer satisfaction, with staff members taking the time to understand individual needs. A standout experience includes the creation of custom colors, such as the cheerful ‘Full-Blush Azalea’ for a bathroom ceiling. The store is not only a place for paint but also a community hub, with an impressive mural and dedicated service that keeps customers returning for all their paint needs.

Highly recommend this paint store! All employees are super friendly, very knowledgeable and helpful, AND as a bonus, it’s the first and only woman-owned paint store in the state of NC. I will never go anywhere else!
