Purchased a certified volvo ..loved the car.. however the service department and customer service is rude and the mechanics do not know what they are doing. I have gotten my car back with issues I didn't have going in. Keyless stopped working, oil light on and they treat these things very cavalier. Tonya is the absolute worse. I still have the car after 13 years however when it was time to purchase went with a brand that stands behind their service and want to assist. Do yourself a favor buy mercedes, lexsus, audi. The repair prices at volvo is in the same expensive category as v those other brands.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. This is my second time leasing a car with University Volvo and it was just a smooth as the first. Everyone I worked with was super easy going with no pressure or stress around the deal. Kudos to Rasul (my salesperson), Jeff (the finance director), and Evelyn (the product & tech specialist) for a their help. I love my XC40 and look forward to continuing to work with University Volvo in the future.

Volvo Service provided a great experience!! Needed to have the windshield replaced in my new Polestar 2 due to a rock hitting it while driving.They were able to get me in within about a week or less (they had to order the windshield delivery, which took a few days) and had a beautiful 2024 Polestar 2 loaner ready for me.Only took from midday Wednesday to the following morning to be complete.And the windshield/labor itself was reasonably priced (compared to when I had it replaced on my previous car last year)Very impressed with the experience!!! Much better experience than I’ve had with service through other large dealers in the area!

We truly enjoyed our experience at University Volvo. The people were extremely thoughtful, nice and accommodating. We felt no pressure from anyone during our visit and were allowed to peruse the information and inventory at our leisure. The assistance during all phases of our experience was truly exceptional. Having your own private session with the technology on how to navigate the vehicle was remarkable, as was our complete experience.

If zero score was avaliable I would rate into the negatives... Google needs to add negative values! Buyer beware, dealership and Volvo corporation will do nothing for you. Your new Volvo you buy will depreciate insanely. Dealership doesn't stand behind you or the brand, I bought a NEW 2021 (end of year) Volvo XC60 Inscription from University Volvo, to which had issues from day one. Brought in for issues with wiper blades not working and smearing both before and after I had the car done in paint protections film, and ceramic. Where I was blamed for the wipers smearing due to ceramic. After they replaced them the first time was charged, while they never work. What's funny is the same ceramic is on all my other cars and guess what no issues! Addionally, go check Volvo Instagram on it as there are many complaints on bad wiper blades. Ok so next was brakes, rotors only replaced never pads at approximately, 2,000 miles, 7,000 miles, 12,000 miles, and SUV is now at 15,000 miles and still pulsate. I was told by them it's first due to my driving on highway, then told by a tech that it's actually due to cheap rotors and steal used... Well, also have had suspension issues, from start with vibration at 70+ mph, I was also told this is due to me driving to fast, then it's my fault for having the 20" rims that Volvo had on the SUV. Vibration has been there since new. Later turned out front suspension has issues, that also never get fixed. Shock absorber and bearing found after I had to come back on a weekend to show a tech. What makes it even better this is not first time I had to teach a tech to do there job to diagnose multiple times. No way they drove it, to test drive it or would have heard the pop of thr shock absorber and bearing. After again giving me the SUV back saying its fixed, still unsafe and broken. Then told them again after now picking up third time as they needed their loaner car back that its set still pops. They care more about having the loaner back then fixing a car that is unsafe. Due to being constantly lied to on them fixing it and been 2 years of back and forth, and at 15,000 miles to now have all of these issues that a car at 100,000 should run into, I took my huge hit and lost a ton of money to trade into a real car. I have no time to keep taking this thing into shop monthly or sometimes back in same week, or every other week. To also add, had multiple interior parts go bad, door handle chrome falling off, button for stereo just cracked touching it, slider for cup holders would not stay, etc. Honestly for how many times a new car I that I bought from them goes into the shop, its a tragedy and even lied to when both Volvo corporation and University Volvo both ignore and do nothing. Best of all the treatment is as if your the problem. Again, my advice, run go to another brand and dealership as they won't care and low ball you on trade to jack up price and make money off your loss. Run! Run somewhere else! If your reading this and avoid this place you just saved yourself a headache and thousands of dollars... actually tens of thousands.

Tonia & Raven were the best customer service people I've ever had with Volvo ever. They are professional, knowledgable, and have excellent follow up. I believe Steve is their manager. They are both assets to your company and it is because of the assistance and service they provided to me that University Volvo in Charlotte will be my dealer. I've had my C70 convertible since 2008 and this was the first time I've ever given a statement of truly being happy with the help and service from start to finish! Lily S

Terrible service and will not be buying another Volvo from this dealership. We’ve had numerous issues with our certified pre-owned xc90 and the service has been extremely below par for a “luxury” brand. There are never loaner cars available, the service is slow, and no one ever returns phone calls or follows up with you. We were sold a dud and the service has not made the situation any better. It feels like we are constantly visiting the dealership for repairs and are then left days/weeks without a car. Just had an entire engine rebuild and after being told everything looked good, our car broke down in the middle of our drive to NY. After first calling the dealership a week ago and leaving multiple messages, I have still not received a call back. Very disappointed and dissatisfied with this vehicle as well as the service provided. I would not recommend buying from here. I’d leave 0 stars after this last experience.

We brought our Volvo here last year and decided to never get a Volvo service done again. We brought it in and it took them three weeks to even look at it and service it. After calling and calling we finally drove down there to get some answers. Tonya and Andrew were so rude and unknowingly were talking to one another about our service while my husband was standing there. He was not known to them and listen to them bad mouth our concerns and their lack of service.I used to go to them for years prior and will travel to any other Volvo before returning to them. I was flabbergasted by their lack of respect and over all disrespect for their customers. I wrote to the company and let them know that they are giving Volvo a bad name.

Had a great experience at University Volvo. Raven, the service advisor, is very professional and nice. My car service was completed faster than quoted. I scraped one of my rims up and had a rim repaired and it looks as if a completely new rim was placed although it wasn’t. Very impressed with the work on my vehicle. I have been impressed since purchasing my vehicle about 2 years ago from Univeristy Volvo!

Seasoned automotive experts help me purchase a Used 2020 Volvo XC60 with all the loaded features.i had one one deal breaker and they hopped on the problem immediately. We didn't make a purchase here but spent a lot of time at this dealership as we were very keen on buying a Volvo. This was one of the best dealerships we worked with. The staff was very helpful and understanding of our needs. They were willing to spend the time with us to walk us through the technical details of the cars and never felt pressured to make the purchase, like many other dealerships.

Couldn’t have had a better experience. I spoke with multiple dealerships, trying to get the best deal. University Volvo was the clear winner. I purchased the car sight unseen, via text message with Daniel. Once I made it to the dealership to pick it up, I spent about 3 minutes signing the paperwork with AJ and was out the door with my new car. I won’t go to another dealer. They are the best.
