“We were passing through and saw bargain town. I dont know about you but I'm a sucker for a bargain. We walked in at 6:59pm and they closed at 7pm. They were so welcoming. We apologized for coming in at closing. They let us browse a bit since we were new. They were so kind and polite. They have a mix of all items, snacks, clothes, appliances, bedding and shoes. We left with a smile and 40.00 lighter. Thank you for being so pleasant.”
“I have reviewed Dollar General several times. I just want to express my opinion to some customers.I have worked in retail before. There are times when a store may only have one employee working. The store manager is given a certain amount of hours each week to use each week for employees. That is the reason there is only one person working at certain times. The employee has to serve the customers . The employee has to look out for possible problems with shoppe lifters.The employee has to stock shelves between helping customers.Customers don't put merchandise back That is all part of the job. Most employees do there job the best as possible. I'm not saying that may be the case every time but most employees do their best”
“Greeted interning store, clean and found what I needed quickly. Service at register was fast and cashier was pleasant and asked if I found everything I needed. Was handed my receipt.”
“The electronic coupons weren't working correctly but the manager got it sorted out and gave me the discount on the products. It's frustrating when corporate can't get these electronic things working correctly and it causes issues at the stores. I know these managers are busting their chops, So for them to have to stock shelves and do customer service it makes it rough on them.”

“The store was not a new one but had everything I was looking for. We were able to get some sand toys for the kids and get I and out very quickly. It was close to our destination as well. The staff were nice and they had a good variety of products in stock. Could use and update but a good place for a quick shopping visit.”
