“I have reviewed Dollar General several times. I just want to express my opinion to some customers.I have worked in retail before. There are times when a store may only have one employee working. The store manager is given a certain amount of hours each week to use each week for employees. That is the reason there is only one person working at certain times. The employee has to serve the customers . The employee has to look out for possible problems with shoppe lifters.The employee has to stock shelves between helping customers.Customers don't put merchandise back That is all part of the job. Most employees do there job the best as possible. I'm not saying that may be the case every time but most employees do their best”

“Keep the new manager you have. She’s not only personable, friendly, courteous, and professional, but she is whipping that store back into shape. People are going to complain for a while still because many are already fed up with previous issues that any new issue that may arise they simply compound this with the previous issues and complain based on that compounded stress which is not fair to the new manager. She is devoted and keeps the shelves stocked and employees and customers smiling. Sadly people usually only speak up when there is a problem and I feel it necessary to also speak up when a problem has been mitigated. Register issues are not her fault people. I just left the store and she actually came out and explained the issues to two individuals and apologized and both left smiling. She’s a rock star and has my vote !
