By far, my favorite bank and people. I let them do anything I ever need done, and they're always so nice and friendly and make it a wonderful experience. I really appreciate Alicia and Amy for all the help and tremendous service.

I read all the other reviews of customers not happy with the columbus branch FCB. I have had no problems at all, everybody has been pleasant and I was able to accomplish anything I needed. My guess is the negative reviews are from a group targeting one specific staff member to get them fired because they don't like them.

Before this location switched to First Citizens it was a pleasure to bank there. Not so much now. They refuse to help with any kind of loan and also miscounting on deposits and refusing to admit when they are wrong. Tried to get loan which the Columbus Branch told me was impossible and went to the Landrum branch and had itdone in less than 30 minutes. That shows the incompetence of the upper management there. If you have to bank with First Citizens I would recommend the Landrum Branch. Everyone is extremely helpful with no issues.

I love this branch! I been reading reviews and I am glad I didn't base a decision about the staff off these comments. I am in retail and can tell these are people who just didn't get their way! LolThey are always very pleasant and helpful.

My entire family has banked at First Citizen Bank for 35 years. We used them for personal and business in Tryon then the Columbus NC locations. Never had anything but over the top service.. Everyone has gone out of their way to help. Tellers have been helpful and courteous. Amy Smith in particular has been knowledgeable and a pleasure, giving me advice with money matters. I can only say if I owned a bank I would love to have employees of this caliber.

I have used this branch location for years under the Entegra Bank name with no issues whatsoever. The employees were incredibly friendly, courteous, and helpful. Unfortunately, all of that quickly changed after First Citizens Bank purchased Integra Bank in 2019.The front window staff is rude, unhelpful, and management is non-existent. I recently tried to create a new account to use their wealth management services and was told that I needed to do it on-line since they could not take the time to assist me.Oh, have a question… the staff will tell you to call their 800 number which is completely useless. I have not idea how a bank branch can operate like this. As soon as my CD expires, I am done with this bank. Look elsewhere for your banking needs, especially if you are a small business owner!!!

Twice I tried to open an additional account in person at this location. The first time they turned me away, the 5 employees were too busy. I was the only customer in the building. Second time again too busy. Decided this was not working and tried to close my existing account. They charge $10 to do this. The branch manager is eternally out on leave, no one is in charge. Tried calling their service number to report the problems with this location, but again they refuse to put you into contact with someone. Thank you for this experience. My entire goal was to have my ATM daily limit increased but this has proved to be impossible. Glad I tested this bank before commiting investments.

Today I went into First Citizens in Columbus to cash a check written to me from this bank. As I approached with check and My ID the lady asked have I ever banked here I said no she said I need to put you in our system.. ok I have no problem with that because I know I'm good. Then you read the check and call the owner name out I responded with yea I did a job for him today then say I'm gonna need to call the owner of the company that wrote the check because it was a large amount and verify I was like what ok kool. She proceeds to call the owner who wrote the check. So I was texting him while she was calling he asked why are you calling she said it was a common Courtesy. Well he said to me I have written checks way larger than mine they have never called me.Before entering the bank I said to myself maybe nope it not gonna happen.. I'm from Polk County nah well I was totally wrong.. I felt like I was profiled a black man with dirty work cloths and a beanie because it was cold outside being profiled with a large check from a company. Come to find out my father has an account there too.

I have been banking with the Columbus, NC location for several years now. When it was Entegra I had a wonderful experience as everyone was very friendly and engaging. Now with the change I find that First Citizens has been equally easy to work with, which is much appreciated. My circumstances are somewhat unique and they have been very helpful.

I have never banked at this location but I have an account with FC... they made an error, made a deposit to my account on Friday then today, Monday, took that deposit out... I had no clue what was going on (never saw the deposit until Monday), this branch never called me. I called my own branch, and was referred to fraud... they let me know it was possibly an error and gave me this branches number. I called and was told that it was an error on someone else's behalf. Listen, I understand things happen... but this deals with not only MY banking and my money, but in this case, someone else's as well... this location should have notified me immediately. Shame on you for not calling me and letting me know what was going on.

Entegra bank was the best bank I ever went through but when they were bought out by first citizens, all went downhill. Worst bank ever.

Unprofessional, discourteous, condescending attitudes. Long term loyalty by their customers isn't valued. Poor management as well. Look elsewhere for your banking needs! I have never given a one star review. I have now!
