The Salvation Army Family Store is a thrift store with a mix of reviews. Many customers find it a great place with a fun atmosphere and great inventory, noting it is very organized and clean. The staff are often described as very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. However, there are consistent concerns about pricing. Multiple reviewers feel many prices are ridiculous, over list price, or insanely high for used items, citing examples like a used lamp for $30 or a donated jacket priced at $130. Some find the merchandise very old, with broken items or clothing with pet hair that should have been thrown out. While some employees will lower prices, others will not, leading to frustration. The store does offer a color of the week for half off, which helps. It is considered hit or miss, with some finding amazing deals on items like a computer desk or dishes, while others walk away empty-handed due to high prices on damaged goods.
The ladies working here are super sweet! Proces were reasonable and they had a huge selection of everything! Didn't have to much time today since I was in a hurry but will definitely be back to buy more creepy old dolls for my daughter's collection (she's 10).
