I have always loved this gym since the first time I trained there a couple years ago. However, it has improved even more since new ownership. I like what they have done with the place. The environment is motivating and enjoyable. The staff are all super outgoing and friendly. They do a great job of making you feel welcome!

This place is everything that's wrong with most gyms. Do not sign a contract with them as you will be locked in and they will make it difficult for you to cancel. They do charge an enhancement fee, which will be all spent towards purchasing more redundant bodybuilding machines while the exercise matts and other pieces of equipment deteriorate. The gym itself is very dirty with the men's locker room being out of soap for over a week every time I go in here I feel like I need to shower, It's honestly disgusting. Please listen if you are a new person to fitness do not hire a personal trainer here. They are focused on selling supplements and will give you a workout Inappropriate for your fitness level only looking to crush you. Most of the time the gym is way too busy unless you are able to come during off hours. The gym uses an app for checking in and sending out updates. Most of the time these updates have the grammar for a 2nd grader, which is unsurprising considering the entire facility is run extremely unprofessionally. If you have kids don't bet on using the kids club because 1-2x per week they will send out an update that it is closed due to staffing issues. I finally have gotten my contract ended and will no longer have to come here to this caricature of everything a gym should not be

This particular branch of Golds Gym, under the helm of a purported general manager, showcases a profound lack of competence and respect, undermining the very essence of the franchise. While a few standout staff members like Abbey shed a glimmer of hope, a disturbing cloud looms over the establishment in the form of an individual responsible for the children's area Theresa Dennehy. Her apparent mental instability raises dire concerns, rendering it hazardous to entrust children under her care.My interaction with this gym was nothing short of a calamity. As a former military veteran seeking to rebuild my life, the two-week pass availed me a temporary sanctuary. However, my attempt to utilize basic facilities for personal upkeep culminated in an ordeal that could only be described as a gross miscarriage of justice.Being summarily expelled from the premises, with disproportionate police involvement and an unwarranted year-long ban, all for the simple act of occupying a chair in the men's locker room, epitomizes an egregious mishandling of a mundane situation. In essence, the treatment I endured wasn't merely disrespectful—it was an assault on fundamental human dignity. As someone endeavoring to reintegrate into civilian life post-service, the lack of empathy or understanding was not just disappointing but a display of the gross inadequacy and callousness exhibited by the general manager. This incident, indicative of the establishment's evident lack of professionalism and decorum, should serve as a cautionary tale to prospective patrons. The Golds Gym branch in question presents an unsettling portrait of incompetence and a severe lack of respect, exacerbated by the deplorable conduct of its supposed leader, the general manager. While a small glimmer of hope is found in a few exceptional staff members like Abbey, a distressing cloud looms over the establishment in the form of Theresa Dennehy responsible for the children's area. Her apparent mental instability and potential danger to children underline a grave concern, casting a shadow on the safety of patrons’ young ones.My experience within the walls of this gym transcended disappointment, plunging into the realm of sheer calamity. As a military veteran seeking to rebuild a shattered life, the hope was that this gym would offer respite. However, the brief respite was swiftly overshadowed by an ordeal that metamorphosed into a gross violation of respect and human dignity. The humiliation I endured, being summarily ejected from the premises, stands as a testament to the gross mishandling of a situation. The intrusive involvement of law enforcement and an unjustifiable year-long ban, all stemming from the mere act of occupying a chair in the men's locker room for a mere 10 minutes before preparing for work, is a grotesque display of overreach and incompetence on the part of the management. The pain and embarrassment incurred were profound. To be subjected to the irrational and disproportionate involvement of police over such a triviality was not just an affront to my dignity but a stark indication of the establishment's lack of compassion and common sense. The humiliation of being publicly embarrassed by the staff's actions in an environment where one should feel safe and respected is an experience that lingers deeply. The total lack of understanding, empathy, or even basic communication in handling a member, who was merely utilizing the facilities in good faith, was not just disheartening but a severe blow to the principles of respect and decency. This incident was not just an individual mishap but an indictment of the establishment's blatant disregard for the human element in their pursuit of superficial rules. The lasting impact of the disgraceful treatment endured within the walls of this gym serves as a stark warning to any potential patrons considering patronizing such an establishment.

The equipment is ok but the cleanliness is the worst I’ve seen compared to any other gym in the area. The bathrooms constantly smell like sewage and something is always broken. The water fountains constantly need to be fixed, the cleaning stations are constantly empty and the bathrooms are always a disaster. Come on guys, do better it’s not that hard to care more.

I do not recommend this gym to anybody besides the equipment being old and out of service. I canceled my membership with this gym a year ago they continue to charge me, and when I finally find out, I change my bank information and all of that they refuse to reimburse me for the whole year, and on top of that they have the nerve to tell me that I had a past due balance, and for that reason, I cannot cancel my account, so I do not recommend this gym to nobody and if you do just make sure you double check and pay attention to your bank account because they will continue take they payment like if you never cancel you membership

Great first time experience. Not just gym equipment being in good condition but everyone there including fellow gym-goer’s are super helpful.

No classes on the holiday weekend? Lame. I hope this place does not go bankrupt. Any gym that has no holiday classes is in danger of bankruptcy. Hire a new program director or go bankrupt.

This golds is one of the nicer ones I’ve ever been to, it’s usually hit or miss with a golds franchise nowadays but this one is on the higher end. There are lots of machines that I hadn’t even seen before here that are really unique and the dumbbells are also really well done. There’s also a boxing area in the back that I didn’t know was there until recently

Horrible. While some people might enjoy that kind of style of a gym, it was laughable. Oh and good luck try cancelling your membership. While I was told my membership was cancelled (after paying an extra $50 to cancel) I am on month number 3 on still being charged. Horribly run business

Not sure why the reviews are so bad. I’ve only had great experiences here. Getting a membership was super easy, hassle free, and the staff (especially Gaby) is very friendly and professional. Most of all, the other members are courteous and respectful. They’re remodeling (?) so it’s a bit hectic but the staff do a good job of keeping things clean.

Great gym! The trainers, coaches, and staff are super encouraging in a very genuine way. They're ready to help without judgement. I haven't been to a gym in over 3 years and I'm definitely on a beginner's level but I feel like the atmosphere they exude is positive and accepting.

I'm a new member of this Gold's Gym Cornelius, but not new to the company. Bri is my trainer, she is very careful to explain and demonstrate the proper use of the equipment. This is my first time working with a female and so far I've enjoyed my sessions. I am happy with the overall appearance and quality of the gym itself.
