I was there for the trail ride/ horseback riding.They are very thorough with their instructions. And Wyatt, my trail guide was wonderful. I am a novice rider and I felt very safe. The mountain trail was fun to ride and the scenery was breathtaking. I highly recommend this tour.

Did a trail ride with my fiancee and I, it was an amazing experience. For being someone who's never ridden a horse this was very rewarding. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. And I would recommend this to anyone who would like to give it a shot.Safety: This is a top priority for everyone at the stables.

Arrowmont is a 200 acre working horse farm tucked away in the majestic mountains of western North Carolina.
At 4000 feet in elevation there are incredible 30 mile views for you to experience on the horse trails. They are truly majestic. You have 5 trails to choose from varying from 45 minutes to 2 hours.
Plan an added 30 to 45 minutes for a safety program and trying out your horse before departing on your trail.
After your ride, you may also enjoy relaxing in one of our comfortable vacation cabins. They have 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, living room, full kitchen, dining area and fireplace. Some even have a great view of the mountains.
