It would be so cool if the Post Office closed at Naples and things were transferred here, so you could have an extra day off. Maybe American could work only 4 days. “@Cynthia Olson, Guessing your pre-paid label was from a Landrum address, which is why they referred you to the Landrum post office? Landrum is in South Carolina vs. Tryon being in North Carolina. It's not the distance it's the state ? BTW, this happened to me, too. Ebay defaulted to my previous address in a different state. All I had to do was pay the difference in postage. Happily paid, no snark included!”

“The East Flat Rock, NC post office is a small rural office and they have weird hours of operation which makes it a challenge to do business there because they close at 4:30 and are closed at lunch, but the people are great, theres hardly ever a line and they receive packages from ups & FedEx. They even deliver the packages for them 7 days a week!”

“Updating this review based on recent events:
I recently had a package coming that was delivered to the wrong address. Long story short it turned into an entire ordeal of it being delivered back to a post office and lost.
The postmaster was incredibly helpful in getting it tracked down and updating me by phone every step of the way. Very kind woman who was genuinely sorry my package was lost. Package is now back on it's way to me.
As for the reviews mentioning delayed packages : The Fletcher Post Office doesn't deliver packages same day that arrive to them after 9 AM. If that happens your delivery will be moved up to the next day.”
“I had a pre-labeled package and the gentleman working this morning was kind enough to come out from behind the desk to show me how to use the self-service kiosk to scan in my own package for drop-off. He definitely didn't have to do that but he went the extra mile. Thank you very much!! :)”

They have the best staff I have ever seen at a post office. I have lived all over the USA. She is the best. I can never thank her enough for what she did.”
