Roosevelt Wilson Park is a peaceful and beautiful spot in Davidson. It is a great shady park, perfect for a relaxing walk around the pond or lake. The walking path is stroller-friendly and features a nice boardwalk. It is a great way to meet other residents and is dog-friendly. The park has a playground with a fun rope climbing structure, which is good for older kids but not super toddler-friendly. There is no shaded parking and no swings. The park provides plenty of open space, a picnic area with grills and a covered pavilion, and several benches. Amenities include bathrooms, a little free library, and a few workout stations. Visitors enjoy feeding the ducks and geese and seeing turtles and catfish in the clear, calm water. The park is described as always clean, quiet, family-friendly, and well worth a stroll for a relaxing immersion in nature.
Love this place very relaxing and hardly ever crowded.

Great shady park. Close to downtown Davidson and has a nice little loop around the lake/pond. The climbing structure is definitely for older kids. There are a few workout stations as well as bathrooms and a pavilion with picnic tables.
