“I love the Corn Crib shop so much ! I always take my company to have fun shopping! I can always count on Anita to help me decorate my home and deck ! My wreaths and the bows are hand made and always get compliments when family and friends come over ! Also her helper Ivy is so helpful! ❤️”
“We could not stay so we bought a bag to go and was surprised on the number of gems even knowing the bag had a few gems added. One thing that struck my wife and I was the customer service. Incredible service, cheerful and pleasant lady at the front desk. The gentleman who carried our $50 bag to the car was very polite. We plan a trip back the 1st week of November and are planning to sit down and screen some dirt and enjoy the awesome service.”
“So much crammed into this store one can't see it all! Typical tourist place. Prices too high for much of the affordable merchandise. I have no problem with a business making a profit and a living. I do have a problem with them trying to make a years profit in one weekend!”

“This little shop was the highlight of our day trip the Cherokee today! Normally we buy a little wedding vase or tchotchke each time we come from another store in town but we explored the "less busy" side of the area and found Village Merchant. Walking in, I spotted the local art by Luzell of area scenes hand painted on saw blades, jugs, rocks, leaves, and even a pair of boots and couldn't get farther into the little store without deciding what to take home! My husband and I probably spent 30 minutes in that corner of the store debating on the piece to purchase.. we ended up taking home a long saw, three smaller circular blades, and I ran back before checking out and grabbed a small glass bottle.The artist's sister (I believe they both own the store?) chatted with us and was super pleasant! We unfortunately did not get her name this time but we are already planning on coming back up to grab a few more pieces for our home!Thank you for the nice chat today and we hope to see you in Blue Ridge, GA, sometime!”

“The best selection of turquoise earrings in that strip of stores. Prices were equivalent to every store in that strip (I'm talking about earrings only.) I didn't like that they were right by the register, I had to wait to look at them when no one was checking out because I couldn't get to them from the other side there was so much merchandise! They definitely had a good selection of souvenirs!”
“The shop was great cleanness and had a friendly atmosphere The young lady behind the counter help me with all my customer needs Mainly just give me great customer service experience while I was there shopping, she help me pick out some beautiful jewelry and few other items I do recommend this shop and the young lady there was spot on helpful and beautiful smile I could tell she loves her Clemson tigers so go visit this shop while your in downtown Cherokee.”

The employees and owners were so kind and helpful, they even exchanged a damaged knife for us without hesitation and I bought quite a bit of their Betty Boop stock! The options in this shop and Cherokee Rose have some of the most unique things to buy and I highly recommend! We came in 3 separate times and it was great at each one.”

“The customer service is amazing! They truly go above and beyond!! After seeing their reviews, I bought my son who would be traveling through Dillsboro a gift certificate for his birthday. They gave me advice for other stores in the town for his birthday. They reached out to me via text to thank me. They let me know when he arrived, 3 days later in the cutest text. In so many personal touches, they made his shopping experience amazing, but his birthday so very special!! I will just say “ Thank you!” to them and they have gained customers for life❤ Their inventory is amazing, their pricing is great, their hospitality and customer service is superb!!”
