“My mom had a flat tire today right before 5. They came out promptly, took her rim back to the shop, replaced the tire, and put it back on her truck. They charged her a MORE than fair price. I would highly reccomend this company to anyone. They were a true blessing to our family/my mom today.”

“Took my car to get serviced for cylinder misfire issue, and some oil leaking from recent oil change. Staff was very nice and helpful, definitely was an incredible experience. Sam, the mechanic working on the vehicle communicated what was going on, made multiple phone calls to give updates, very attentive to the customer and took care of any need. Was a great interaction and would recommend taking your vehicle!”

“Had 4 new tires placed, an alignment check and a last minute oil change that required some extra attention following a previous dealership visit. Hester was more than accommodating and super professional; there was no upselling what I didn't need and they welcomed us back to the shop to explain all issues before moving forward. I will definitely make the 45 minute drive from Fayetteville for any future needs.”

“Amazing body work done. Only complaint is that it is VERY DIFFICULT to communicate with the owner. Texting is the only way to communicate with him. He and the employees are amazing with the job they do, but they need a better way to communicate with the shop.”

“This was my first time visiting even though I have passed by many times. I usually pick up mower parts from other local places because it's convenient and I'm already in the store. I was having a hard time finding parts to a 1967 model Briggs & Stratton engine and tiller. I really needed a place where I could bring the old parts in and get someone to match them up. That's hard to do with on-line ordering. After multiple attempts trying to find parts on-line with "should be compatible with your engine" I decided to try Thompson's. They were able to get me everything I needed to rebuild this old tiller that had been sitting with rotten gas in the tank and carb for 20 years. These were OEM parts - not the junk knockoffs. They also had good quality mower blades which I also needed for a push mower. I usually expect small town shops to have a little higher price, but they were actually better priced than the big box stores on a lot of their parts. I am glad I stopped in. This will be on my list of go-to places in the future.”

“The staff at Affordable Auto & Tire replaced my tires and made me aware of another area on my vehicle that needed immediate attention for the safety of my family. They were very friendly and caring when I was obviously distressed at the unexpected occurrence of another repair and bill. Excellent Customer Service!”

“Okay, halfway to White Lake from Wake Forest, our car a/c started making a bunch of noise. The air coming out was cold, but we had to drop it down to low because it was so loud. I brought it to Heustess Auto Car Center, and the guy said it was the blower, which made total sense. He ordered a new blower and let me know it would be about $285 to replace, parts and labor. I said okay. He called me a little while later and said, “Do you want the good news, or the……better news?” Well, having never played this version of the game, I said I’d like the good news. He said it was ready. I asked about the better news. He said a paper napkin had blown into it, and I didn’t need the new blower after all (that he had purchased to install). And he only charged me $80.00 to get in there and remove the paper and make sure the blower was sitting correctly. How many mechanics would have not said anything and just charged me the original quote (knowing that I was from out of town)?
If you live in Elizabethtown or are ever near Elizabethtown and need work done to your car, I HIGHLY, HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend Heustess Auto Car Care! I’m blown away and this guys honesty and work!”
