Duck Town Park Boardwalk is a delightful and free public walking space that stretches from northern Duck to the downtown. It is a calm, family-friendly place with no bicycles or scooters. Visitors can stop and shop along the way at several interesting shops, ranging from a general store and specialty vendors to eateries. They can grab treats like a pint of ice cream or beer. The views of the sound are nice, and it is the place to see beautifully stunning sunsets. There is lots of wildlife around, including ducks and fawns, to keep an eye out for on the water.
Beautiful boardwalk for taking a stroll. Lots of birds and gorgeous views. Some sections include local shops and eateries. Highly recommended if you like a morning walk or run. Little kids always seem to enjoy themselves here.

We come here whenever we are in the Outer Banks to watch the sunset. It's a stunning view!

An awful smell Like sewage, but I believe it is seaweed rotting. Not sure anything can be done. Not a good place to eat your ice cream. 😁
