Dare County Recreation Department is a very nice and large park with a sizeable playground for young kids. It has plenty of fields for baseball and soccer, along with tennis courts. The facility is excellent for pickleball, with four outdoor courts that attract friendly competition for all different levels. People gather to play from early morning. The grounds are impressive and the restrooms are clean. It is a perfect place for pups and has a nice picnic area. It is a great place to just show up and have fun.
This is a great park for families. My grandsons love the pirate play area for toddlers and the swings

Very nice and large park with a sizeable playground for young kids. Plenty of fields as well for baseball, soccer, etc. We only stopped by for a little bit, but we were impressed with the grounds. Would come back again.

The Outer Banks is extremely fortunate to have this place. Great place for the youth!
