Kitty Hawk Kites is a fun store with a huge selection of kites and accessories at decent prices. The staff is friendly, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable, making sure customers have all the knowledge needed for a good flight. They provide great service by answering all questions, offering tips and tricks for flying, and walking people through everything from selecting a kite to how to put it together. The experience is so positive that some note it as the best they have ever had in a retail store. The business also offers memorable Outer Banks experiences like parasailing with a crew that is fun and always prioritizes safety. Additionally, the shop has great quality t-shirts and hats for souvenirs, with staff offering kind gestures like area guides for first-time visitors. It is a highly recommended place for both kites and OBX souvenirs.
Great excursion. Little pricey ($90 per, which seems standard), but a fun time for whole family--even those a bit afraid of heights. Crew (Sean and Keegan) made it a lot of fun.

This brought us to Duck NC which is absolutely adorable. The person working was extremely helpful answering questions and recommending kites to us, and the location has an eclectic mix of toys and wind items

Great place to rent all types of water craft from for really affordable prices, Staff is very friendly and down to earth as well. Definitely worth it!
