Logan was so helpful and answered all our questions about picking out kites for my nieces and nephews. We bought 3 kites. Logan also gave us tips & tricks to fly them. He made it so easy for us to be successful kite fliers.

My family and I, came to the OBX area for Vacation. We booked a Dolphin tour with Kitty Hawk. Needless to say the day turned in to crap fast. We literally watched the weather all day. It was to rain as the day went on. Yes, you can bet that it rained. Yes, we got to see the Dolphins. However with the rain. The Captain openly admitted that he couldn’t see to get us back to the dock safely. We all got very nervous when that happened, not to forget that we all was soaked from head to toe. I honestly think if we knew it was going to rain he did too. They could have reschedule the tour. Or at least asked if we wanted money back, or even if we wanted to personally wanted to reschedule. Nope, nothing. I will not tour with them again.

Awesome shop! Huge selection of kites, decent prices. But the real star of the show is the manager, Scott. We didn't know much about kite flying or stunt kites and Scott walked us through everything from selecting our kite to how to put it together. Excited to go fly our new stunt kite. Thankyou Scott & Kitty Hawk kites!

Working over 25 years in customer service, I can honestly say I have never had such a great experience in a retail store.
I’ve been flying kite for years, and have been wanting to finally try a stunt kite. We were visiting Kitty Hawk and decided to stop in the store to see what they have (I’m very familiar with Kitty Hawk Kites since they are always at the Virginia Beach Kite Festival each year). In fact all of my kites are from them.
When I went to the store to look, I saw one that I liked, and went to buy it. I got to talking to the young man there - sadly didn’t get his name - and he talked me out of the one I had, and suggested a slightly less expensive one, telling me that for a novice, it was a much better kite.
Hopefully, I’ll give it a go tomorrow, but since the review is for the store, and not the kite, I had to write it immediately! Stop here if you want great service and a HUGE selection of kites and accessories!

Went parasailing at this Kitty Hawk Kites location and had a blast! Captain and FO were extremely knowledgeable, fun, and always had safety first. Very memorable OBX experience!

I really loved stopping by this shop as they have great quality t-shirts and hats for souvenirs. I didn’t catch the gentleman’s name that was working here but he gave me a guide with a map showing all of the towns in OBX as this was my first time visiting the area, which was super kind. Do yourselves a favor and skip Wings, come here instead for your souvenirs.

The magnitude of this kite shop and toy store is beyond comparison. Any man, or woman would be envious of their child the first time they entered the door to see this kite spectacular.

They have a great kite selection. I feel like it was more than the other location. Lots of nice options. And the kids love the toys.
