Prices are too high compared with competitors. Service was very timely.

If you go to this place make sure you have plenty of time - even if you have an appointment. It took 2 hours to have my car inspected with a 7am appointment. Staff were friendly.

Called about the wait time for a state inspection on Sunday. I was told I couldn't be told until I was @ the shop. Arrived @ the shop to be told it would be a 90 minute wait. 😑

I would have given you a 5 star rating but I am disappointed that the invoice I expected was not attached to the email you sent me. It's part of my vehicle maintenance history and I may have to go back to the shop to get what I want.

I'm not happy about the prorated tire warranty. The system in use to determine rebate is inaccurate and not really "prorated".

Made an appointment online for an oil change. There was a special for $49 for full synthetic oil. My car takes . 7 quarts more then the five in a regular change so I knew I had to pay more. When I got there they said I had to pay $160 for the oil change because my car didn't qualify for the $49 oil change. I went across the street to Pep Boys and saved $60.

Service on vehicle’s is great, however customer service must improve: Chad, or at least thats what he prefers to be called, needs to be more customer friendly. Hate going there in the mornings just to deal with a bad customer service attitude: Makes one’s day start with a headache. We’re a frequent customer, and use this site’s service only because of the location.

I recently took my car for a state inspection at this Firestone location. I appreciate they were able to make room rather quickly for an appointment. However, I had a side marker light out that needed replacement. The light cost under 5 dollars and for the quick installation I was charged 51 dollars for labor. Additionally, I was told my battery needed replacement and measured 0 CCA. I had just replaced the battery a couple months prior to this inspection. I took the battery back to where I purchased it from. They were willing to order me a new battery, but they first tested it. As I suspected the battery had great life, and measured an appropriate 634 CCA. Lastly, the man working the front desk at Firestone that day did not have the best customer service. I was waiting for my car in their lobby and he made unprofessional comments aloud after getting off the phone with customers. I will not be returning to Firestone.

They did my diagnosis and estimate quickly. I was very pleased the work could be done on a Sunday. Michael was quite helpful.

If i could give 0 stars, I would.. On Saturday September 14, 2024 my husband and I took my vehicle, 2016 GMC Acadia for repair at Firestone, located at 5115 NC 55, Durham. NC, 27713. We spoke to an employee by the name of Mike before proceeding to their location. The vehicle was bought in to have a alternator installed and to be paid for by our warranty company. Mike kept calling us back trying to get us to buy another battery, to paying more diagnostic fees, when finally mu husband said we would just come back and pick the vehicle up. Tuesday, September 17, 2024, my husband and I went in to get the vehicle and it was inside the first bay, with the hood up and the drivers side window, halfway down. The employees backed the vehicle out of the bay, we paid the diagnostic fee, and my husband got in his vehicle, and I got into my truck. Upon riding down the street, I discovered my whole front passenger side was soaking wet. The seat was wet as well as the floor, the middle console, and my radio had moisture behind the screen. I called my husband and informed him of what I had discovered in the car, and he informed me to call back to Firestone. I called back and spoke to Mike, who said they hadn't touched the vehicle until the day before, and he doesn't know why it was wet. Then he stated that we (my husband and I) left the sunroof open and that " That's on ya'll. You all left the sunroof open, and we don't have anything to do with that. That's not my problem. I informed him, that my vehicle has been in their care, since we dropped it off on Saturday and handed them the keys on their property and I would be filing a complaint due to the neglected treatment of my car.
