This H&M location is one of the worst shopping experiences I’ve had. I came several times and always the staff were shockingly rude and dismissive. Their attitude made it very clear that customers are not welcome here.
Judging by other reviews, this is not a one-time issue, it’s a pattern of unprofessional and disrespectful behavior. Management seriously needs to address the culture of this store, because treating customers this way is unacceptable.

I visited the H&M store yesterday at approximately 11:00 a.m. Although the store was nearly empty, the staff demonstrated an extremely unwelcoming and unfriendly attitude. Their behavior conveyed the impression that I was not welcome in the store, which is unacceptable and highly unprofessional.
Such conduct not only creates a hostile shopping environment but also raises serious concerns about discriminatory treatment of customers. I expect H&M to uphold standards of inclusivity, respect, and professionalism across all its locations. I request that this incident be reviewed and that appropriate action be taken to ensure other customers do not experience similar treatment in the future.

The positive reviews below me have to be fake or posted by the staff because they’re getting flamed for their poor customer service. What people say about this place’s service is true. Employees are always rude everytime we go. Used to be a decent place but really went downhill. A simple question or request will earn you an attitude or sarcastic comment. If you’re lucky, maybe even an eye roll. Everybody has a bad day but it seems like that’s everyday for the people working here

Order placed on Aug 11 and not delivered until 20th and reached out customer care a few times and they have no idea and asked me self serve by following up with USPS!
I won’t order again from this type of shop who lack basic customer service skills

The store has great selections and is neat and clean. But the employees are there to just get the money. They need customer service training. They don’t acknowledge or help. They don’t even say hello to the customers. Self check out is better then they are.

At 8:10pm on 2/22/25, I went to H&M in Southport Mall. I asked female employee(who was listening to music with her earbuds in her ear) to direct me to the fitting room. I walked up to the fitting room and another female employee told me the fitting room closes at 8:30pm. The store closes at 9pm. I went back to the female employee who directed me to the fitting room to confirm closing of fitting room. When I asked she looked at her watch and I seen the time said 8:29pm. She had a confusing look on her face. Her response to me was to go in the corner and pull pants over my clothes. I told her 1) someone sees that, they’d think I was trying to steal. 2) your employees are lazy. I marched up to the register and gave clothes to the male cashier and told him fitting room closed at 8:30 and “I’m not putting these items back”. What kind of business your establishment conducts between 8:30-9pm on a Saturday. I can imagine the amount of sales/money your establishment looses because your dressing room closes at 8:30 because your employees more concerned about having to put items back before they can clockout. Make it make sense. Love the clothes, but this place has awful customer service. Was waiting in line while 2 employees casually chatted behind the counter. Waited a while until they finally helped me. No apology or even self awareness. What has happened to customer service.
