Morehead Manor Bed and Breakfast is an excellent and magnificent place to stay, offering a wonderful and great experience. The house is full of character and history, described as cozy, homey, and very spacious. Guests find the rooms comfortable, the beds comfortable, and appreciate the high ceilings in this fabulous historic home. The grounds are beautiful, quiet, and tranquil, well-lit at night with several seating and resting spots, including a blissful porch with rocking chairs. Hospitality is a 10 out of 10, with the hosts being warm, personable, helpful, friendly, and nice. They are intentional and thoughtful, considering dietary restrictions and offering great care. Breakfast is outstanding, creative, delicious, and homemade, with the smell wafting upstairs. In the evenings, yummy home-baked treats, cookies, cakes, and pastries are available, along with coffee, water, and snacks. There is a beautiful assortment of books in every room and art showcasing the history of Durham. The location is close to downtown Durham, with great walkability. It is just a ten-minute walk from tons of restaurants, bars, the Durham Bulls Athletic Park, and the Duke campus. Local activities, book stores, and candle shops are a short drive away. Parking is available on site. Guests enjoy the opportunity to relax, read, watch TV in the living room, and chat with other guests. Additional services like booked massages are described as divine. It is a sheer delight with attention to every detail, making it a place guests will love and definitely return to.
Morehead Manor was an absolute delight. The accommodations were very comfortable with a wonderful history. Monica served the best breakfast I have ever had. She and Daniel are the best. We could not recommend them more highly.

This is a beautiful B&B with the kindest hosts who will make you feel right at home. Huge rooms and beds, and all the little details to make you feel at home.
